Fantasy Western April 28, 2012

I think we're getting there!!!

How about the Fantastic Frolicker Fling? (That way we're not repeating Fantastic and Fantasy) - or the Fantasy Frolicker Fling?

Or perhaps Fabulous Fantasy Frolickers ?

Another thought that just came to me - we're stopping twice in Mexico, so maybe we can fit Fiesta into our title?

The Fantasy Fiesta Frolickers?

Or playing on Taswira's idea - The Fabulous Fantasy Fiesta?

wondering how the guys in the sailing party will feel about being "frolickers" :lmao:

So I'm a slacker...I just realized I asked where people are from, adn didn't say about myself...DH and I (and the 3 urchins) live in Lawrenceville, which is a suburb about 30 minutes northeast of Atlanta. The port is about a 7 hour drive for us. We'll drive in Friday night, stay at the same hotel we stay at every cruise ($65 for the room including breakfast) and head to the port Saturday morning in time to be there when they open the gates at 10:00.

To frolic is basically to behave joyfully, make merryment, have fun . . a term often associated with Mardi Gras. Nothing derogatory about it, even for guys. Now the women attached to the guys who are frolicking just MAY have a complaint! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

As to the question of location:

Born and raised in San Diego CA. Living in Florida since 2003. I reside in Spruce Creek Fly-In, down the road from Port Orange (southwest of Daytona Beach), about an hour from Port Canaveral and 1 hr. 15 min from WDW. Other home is in Idaho. Married. No kids.

I'm from NH originally and now live in Central Florida about an hour northwest of the Mouse. Not married, (divorced) have a son who will be 35 tomorrow. Two grandkids.

This will be my second cruise. I had hoped to cruise again since my first in 2007, but health issues got in the way. So this trip is a big, big deal to me.

Now if it will only get here sooner!:rotfl:

Hi all
My hubby and I are from Portland, Oregon. Married, no kids. This is our 5th Disney cruise. We did the second voyage of the Dream. I have to say 4 days is not enough! All our other cruises have been on the Magic. Just love the Magic and had lots and lots of happy memories and experiences with the Magic. Can't help with a name for this cruise. Not very creative that way. I am however into digital scrapbooking, so I will probably publish a photobook of this trip.

Welcome Kyla!

I am so going to miss the Magic. I am however, really excited to see the Fantasy when she is finished. Waiting to find out the small differences between her and the Dream.

So, you at least have seen the Dream. Is she beautiful?

We've been on the Wonder twice and the Dream once, never got to the Magic :guilty:

Looking forward to a longer cruise - avoided them in the past due to seasickness, but the Dream was truly a Dream, didn't feel a thing! So hoping it will be the same on the Fantasy.

I'm into scrapping too - paper and digital.

So looks like two votes so far for Fabulous Fantasy Fiesta. Any other ideas?

Just thought of another - Living in a Fantasy World - and Lovin' it!

:rolleyes1

Always loved the Magic and it will have a special place in my memories. The Dream is an updated Magic. The rooms, the theatre, the sounds systems and all the little special surprises around the ship. I don't think I got to them all. The movie theatre you can actually get to your seat without breaking someone's knees now. They show 3D films, its great. In Walt Disney theatre, the shows are 3 times during the evening so hopefully less crowded. The cruise wasn't fully booked, so the theatre seemd spacious. The only problems we were having was with phones, tv, and guest services. Still bugs being worked out.

Starting to think about stateroom door decorations.

Wonder if the graphics folks have Mickey ears with a sombrero? I'll have to go over to their threads and look.

Keeping my eyes out for fish extender gift ideas.

I know it's still over a year away, but dreaming and planning makes the time go faster for me, and is half the fun!!!

Blessings - Lin
