Welcome all
Wow
8timesblessed
you certainly are!! Cannot even begin to imagine planning a holiday with 8 kids. FE can be time-consuming but it can be a project for your kids to get involved in if they are interested in something like that, to look forward to their
Disney cruise. FE do not have to be individual gifts but can be one for the entire family ... so they could plan for one FE gift from the
8timesblessed family to the other ... then they could get involved in delivering them when on the ship ... it is more for the kids than anything else as it is exciting for them to open their stateroom door each day to see what has been dropped off by the various "Secret Santas" ... there are so many ideas out there for FE gifts and they do not have to be large or expensive at all ... particularly if you are going to pack for eight +

... whatever your choice though, you and your entire family are still welcome to the group
jjkhoward ... Cabanas are wonderful but it's like winning the lottery ... keeping our fingers crossed ...
andreap82 ... If you are staying at a Disney resort, it may be best to take the avail Disney transport to save the hassle of dropping off the rental. We are arriving 8 nights before the cruise and will likely be taking a limo rental service. We did it before on our B2B cruise in 2012 and it was great; convenient and relaxing ... but definitely pricier than the Disney buses. If you are going to MCO right after the cruise then Disney transpo is the way to go.
We just booked our stay at Disney Port Orleans Riverside this week for the eight nights before the cruise! ... and for the 3 nights after the cruise at Universal!! Disney did not have any promos yet for May but sister-in-law notified us of the booking special that Orbitz had earlier this week ... most of the Disney resorts were discounted plus they had an additional 15% off Code ... so PORS was 25% off the regular rate plus the additional 15% ... translated into savings of $826

plus the Orbitz "special" also included a "free" cancellation policy of up to 48 hours before travel ...
Update: Disney is now advertising a Spring rate special so the savings drops down to $225 for a comparable room which is still great ...
Then I booked the new Cabana Bay Beach resort at Universal for the 3 nights after and with the 15% Orbit discount plus the newly earned Orbitz bucks from the Disney booking, I saved over $100 compared to the Introductory Special rate being offered by Universal.
Starting to get excited
