Fantasmic...when to get in line?

DH and I have been to WDW 3 times and this trip will be the FIRST time we have been able to work "Fantasmic" into the schedule! Needless to say, we are excited to see it!

We will be there the week of 1/12/04 and can see it any night. We choose not to do the Fantasmic Dinner package because our favorite MGM eatery (50's Primetime) is not one of the restaurants in the package.

We need to decide on PS time at 50's Primetime. So, what time do we need to be in line for "Fantasmic"? I hear that all of the seats are good and the only thing to worry about is getting in line early enough to get a seat. Is there a night that has lighter crowds?

I would reccomend a weekday night. If you definately want a seat you would need to be there an hour before showtime.

We were there during a time of very low crowds and most seats were filled by 30 minutes before showtime.

I'd get in line no shorter than 45 mins before showtime and weekdays are always less filled than weekend showings or any night where there is a second showing of Fantasmic, always see the second showing.
