Fantasmic Seating

Which would you do for dinner for the Fantasmic seating voucher - Hollywood & Vine or Mama Melrose? On one hand the buffet may be better for my picky 7 yr old but I think we all do well with Italian so it may not matter? If you have gone to one (or both) what was your experience? Do they give you a certain time to eat dinner - like is it right before the show and you head straight over there?

We made our reservations for Mama Melrose. None of the three restaurant choices had stellar reviews but we thought that MM would work best for us. One thing I did read on the Boards was that MM can run a little slow and that it was not a good idea to cut it too close. In fact I don't think that they will let you book your time later than 6:00 or so. It looks like we may have a bit of time between dinner and the show.

We're doing Hollywood Brown Derby for the Fantasmic Dinner Package in August. But our second choice was Mama Melrose's.

We are going to H&V... the food selection seems to be good and we weren't all that impressed with MM on our last trip

We enjoyed our dinner at H&V but we're making this year's F! Package at Mama Melrose. Just to do something new.
