fantasmic package and teppanyaki

I thought I would start this thread and see if there was anyone on the myw dining plan that was able to get either of these ?

I remember when I booked Hollywood&Vine for Fantasmic Dinner they asked if I was on the dining plan. I'm not though, but I assume since they asked they accept it.

Someone posted a few days ago, that they were able to use it at Teppanyaki.

Also heard reports that you can use it for Fantasmic, but the dining CM still say no. One post I read said they cahrged an extra $10, to use it for fantasmic. ?????

I used dining plan at Teppanyaki on Sunday, April 3rd.

Is this the basic myw dining plan or the premium dining plan? I called you can eat at the hollywood and vine with the myw but two cms said you cant book the fantasmic package. They both said no to teppanyaki. I think I will go and then tell them I am on the plan if they say sure which I hope great. If not I will pay for it out of my pocket.

Just got back and used the Dining Plan to pay for Fantasmic Dinner Pkg at H&V on Fri, April 8th. When I booked it through Disney Dining, I was told, NO, but I asked anyway and our server deducted the points from our plan! Yay! Saved us over $95 for a party of 6 (one under 3). It was great too! I say, book it with the intent of having to pay for it, but ask anyway and you may be able to use it.
