Fantasmic dining package, kids meal

Can you order a kids meal at the participating restaurants or do you have to order the buffet. I have an 11 year old who will not eat much on a buffet.
If I can spend $10 on a kids meal I would much prefer that over $30 for a buffet.

I would have the same question for any of the restaurants that have a buffet
including Chef Mickey.

If you go to a buffet restaurant, you pay the buffet price, and you eat what is on the buffet. The only exception would be Ohana's, which isn't a buffet, but a family style restaurant with a set menu. They will bring your child a childs meal from Kona Cafe.

Previous poster is correct. If you eat at the Hollywood and Vine then you will pay the adult price for the buffet for your 11 year.

At MM and Brown Derby you can ask them if you can order her something off the child's menu and I don't think it will be a problem.

So, MM and Brown Derby are not buffets ?
I can order off a menu for both the adults and children with a Fantasmic package ?

Yes, at Mama Melroses and Brown Derby you just order from the menu.

But with the FDP I don't know if they will let an 11 year old order from the kids menu or if they will have to pay the adult price since it is a package.

I know without the package you can. Does anyone know for sure?

Good question Allison?? If you just go there to eat, no problem. BUT, when you call to schedule the Fantasmic package they are going to ask you the ages of your party members. Call and ask and let us know! I have to say, we have done BD and did not love it. We LOVE the H&V buffet so we will just pay the $$$. We have not tried MM, dh and I do not love red sauce, or too much of any sauce.
