Is it possible to see Fantasmic at 7:00 and hop over to Magic kingdom for wishes at 8:00 (We'd drive ) or is it impossible even to catch a little of it.. Can you see it from the MK gates?

fantasmic is a 30 minute show, then you have to negotiate the crowd exiting the park, and either walk to your car or catch a tram. the drive over to the MK isn't bad, but I'd ballpark that you would be seeing wishes as the monorail made it's way over to the MK.

Fantsamic lasts around 25 minutes and you'll have to leave MGM with the mass exodus of about 6-9 thousand people. I think you'd be hard pressed to get out of the MGM crowds/traffic and all the way in to MK before an 8pm Wishes show starts. However, you can easily see the Wishes fireworks in the sky as you're driving towards MK.

I don't think that's possible for this reason...

Fantasmic is 30 mins long. After it's over it will most likely take you 15 minutes to get out of the ampitheatre. Then you have to get to your car through the thousands of other guests leaving. Even if you sat in the very back and ran out at the last second, you still would have to fight to get to your car and then beat the traffic out of there. MK is a 10-15 minute drive from MGM. By the time you park and run through the parking lot into the park, Wishes will have been long over.

You CAN see the fireworks from the gates of the park, but I still don't think you'd have enough time to get there. Unless you only watched the first 20 mins of Fantasmic...(and the end is the best part!)

I used to work at Fantasmic...Believe me, I know the crowds. :)

Thanks for all the input! We'll do wishes on another night! I really want to see both!
