Family of the Day at Epcot

Got back last Thursday and still day-dreaming and remembered that i hadn't told anyone (apart that is from family and work collegues) about being chosen as Family of the Day at Epcot on our first day(26th May)

9 year old daughter was chosen out of the crowd to take part in some magic tricks and then my husband and i were asked if we would like to open Epcot. Had to count down from 10 to 0 and shout "Welcome to Epcot". Received a fast pass for the pleasure (but would have done it for nothing anyway!!).

When we went back later that night for the fireworks i kept telling my daughter that if we hadn't have done the countdown all these people could not have watched the fireworks. She actually believed me!

Anyone else ever been chosen to open the parks?

EPCOT seems to be where it all happens. It was coming out of SOARIN that I bumped into Arsene Wenger and His Family.
