Fall/Fall Advantage 2009 interviews

Thanks for the confidence boost! I'm feeling a lot better about it now than I was this afternoon.

No problem, we've all got to stick up for each other here!!! I'm glad that you're feeling better, the supportive nature of everyone on this site is one the the reasons I joined. :)

I did my interview this morning :) I'm so jazzed. I had Rhonda and everyone was right she is really nice. I feel like it went really well but now I'm just a little weirded out in hind sight because she hardly asked me anything about the actualy roles. She asked how I would feel about giving a speil for attractions? and how I thought my prior peforming experience would translate to being a character performer? But outside that we just talked about stuff like roomies, majors, and disney stuff. Is that normal?

They did have photopass this spring. My sister is in the CP right now and one of her roomies is doing it. She is only 1 of 4 people accepted for photopass for the spring session of the college program. Hopefully they open more spots for this fall because that would be a dream job for me.

It might not have been available for people extending though.

I just called to schedule my interview! It's at 10:00 Friday morning with Denise. I didn't expect it to be so soon, now I'm getting nervous!

Wow, everyone lives so far away, I live in Canton, which is a suburb of Atlanta and we are only 7 hours. I couldnt imagine driving 20 hours to disney.. (I really hate driving back it forth from school when I go home, almost an hour away)

Good luck tomorrow on you interview savannahjean 85

Thanks for the well wishes guy :)

GAguy_DCP I am with you, I live about 6 and 1/2 hours away from disney. I love being this close.

Luckily I'm flying, otherwise I would have a 24+ hour drive from Massachusetts.... yuck.

And my friend has Rhonda at 10:30 tomorrow morning, I'll tell her to keep it short for you savannahjean!

Unfortunately I don't think it went very well. I'm worried that I didn't connect well with my interviewer. There was no small talk and no talk about the parks, like which is my favorite. I didn't really get any feedback from her at all, she just went on to the next question after I finished answering.

I didn't really "connect" with my interviewer. I don't remember any small talk or anything. I thought the whole thing was awkward and it probably lasted 10 minutes tops.

And I still got in sooo don't put yourself out yet!!!!!
