Fall/Fall Advantage 2009 interviews

Sooo tomorrow is my interview at 10AM eastern time with Rhonda! I just updated my resume and have all my references listed in order with contact information! What do we have to fax following the interview? I know the Role Checklist but do we also send a resume? Just curious.

I am going to go for Vacation Planner as my # 1 then Hospitality, and then attractions I think idk I really just want my #1 or #2! I'm glad you guys posted about them asking about Quick Service food because I think I may have paniced and just said yes but I definitely don't want to and with the heads up I will be prepared to answer in that manner. Thanks to everyone who have posted about their interview experiences so far I will be sure to update when it is over! Getting really nervous!

Good luck!! :)

You don't need to send a resume.

Just completed my Interview with Rhonda. It was 24 mins...had no idea it had been that long as it was rapping up I was like I hope this wasn't too short haha.

Anyways she was so nice and it just felt like a normal conversation after she got through all the mandatory questions.

My number 1 was Vacation Planner which she seemed to ask a lot about, about my knowledge of the tickets and working with guests so that was good.
Hospitality questions were just "If a guest wanted a room that was no available how would you handle it?" and "How would you make a guest feel special as they are beginning their Disney vacation?"

I got a multi-tasking question, question about using a computer system and experience I had with it, favorite park and resort, what my goals are with my degree and living with a large amount of roommates. All in all I thought it went well, a lot better then I had imagined it going! So I guess there's nothing else I can do its up to them.

She also did ask about if I'd only do Fall or if she could put Fall Advantage down as well and she did not have the answer for when in May that would begin but she put it as a 2nd choice for me, kinda nervous about that but hopefully it is alright. Alright well good luck to everyone else going today or this week...if you have Rhonda relax she's very nice!

Oh and she said 2-3 weeks and I should hear!

It says 4 - 6 weeks all over the official site. Here are the FAQs:
http://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com/sap/its/mimes/zh_wdwcp/students/faqs/faq_notification_process.html

Based on what it says on the official site and remembering the long delays and whatever that happened last semester, I'd say 4 - 6 weeks is really the time frame that you should plan on.

Those saying that they were told "end of Feb" would fall right into that time frame.

Yeah, I was told the end of February too. My interviewer was named Christy. Did any of you that has done your interview get asked whether or not you would be willing to do QSFB? I wasn't asked if I would be willing to do it or not, but I am just nervous that I will end up in QSFB and I don't really want to have that role.

Yes. I was asked if I would be willing to do QSFB. But I did QSFB last summer, and I told her I really didn't want to do it again.

You shouldn't be. You technically are only supposed to be considered for the roles you discussed during the interview.

I got an email after my interview saying Thank you and 4-6 weeks. She just said 2-3 weeks 3 times during my interview....could be right could be wrong...just telling you what she said!

I did get asked about Quick Service...but said no and explained why and she said that was fine and would not effect my chances.

it would be totally awesome if it was three weeks, but probably not with my luck haha

I got that email today from my recruiter.. so of course I emailed her back and thanked her, and then asked if it was okay that I didn't write "ATTN: _____" on it, since I sent it out that day, and it's been about a week. She's Out of Office though, so oh well.

I had Rhonda too! She told me 3-4 weeks, but that was last week!!! So maybe now its 2-3 weeks, and next week it will be 1-2 weeks .... haha if only.

I sent an email to my recruiter too, and got an out of office reply. hopefully we'll get answers soon! its a little annoying that they tell us to email questions and then get out of office responces... i'm sure they're incredibly busy this time of year though!

My interview is in about 3 hours and I'm really starting to get nervous. Anybody got any last minute tips?

They certainly give that impression, don't they?

It says this at the top of the Role Checklist:
"Please note that, based on your interview, you may be considered for roles that you have not checked."

That gives them an "out". Meaning they could offer someone anything and when asked why revert back to "well, based on your interview we felt you would be better in this role"

Should they? No.

Can they? Yes.

Do they? Most likely.

I have had two siblings go through the program and I also asked them about this. Yes, they do ask you about other positions on the role checklist after they review our application and also how you answer some of the questions during the interview. My sister did Hospitality and she wanted to do Vacation Planner. Her recruiter asked her during the interview if she was interested in doing HOspitality.

They assured me, (now I dont know how sure they are with the company.) that your recruiter cant put you in another role you havent checkd unless you give them permission to
