Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

When we went to see CP it was misting rain the whole time. I had one kid asleep across my lap, the other one propped up beside me and the camcorder recording. I thought no big deal, I'll just listen now then watch the show when we get back to the room. Nope. Turned the playback on and we got nada. I was so excited too because Doogie Howser was the guest speaker! Oh well, gives me a reason to try and book another Christmas trip someday (fingers crossed).
Oh you had a great guest speaker! That would be 2 of my 3 kids probably sleeping through the whole thing, LOL! I am so sorry it didn't record for you, but I agree you just have to book another Christmas trip to try it again!:thumbsup2

I'm really excited about the Candlelight Processional! I may have said this before (?), but the tradition started at Disneyland! I grew up in Northern CA, and my Disney obsession started young. By the time we moved from CA, I'd been to Disneyland about 40 times, but never near Christmas. I'm really excited to see this!

Schell, I hope you get to have a Christmas trip soon!!!!

Lol after saying I hadn't gotten my book yet, I went to the mailbox this afternoon and boom! Mail from Disney. But, it was for the trip we cancelled, for a room for four, which I cancelled after getting my room for 5 at CBR.

I had to call for another reason, so asked if I would get another booklet for our actual trip and she said yes, they were just running behind on them. So take heart. The booklets are on their way!!!! Yay!!!!

Oh, I ordered our magic bands today!!! Woo hoo!!!! Now to wait for our FP+ window!!
Hello - I am a travel agent and my specialty is Disney. I have been booking Disney trips for about 8 years (for myself & clients) and I have never heard of this Incredibles Booklet. One of my clients was reading this discussion board and mentioned it to me. Who do I contact about this?

It's so weird because sometimes we get them, sometimes not. We went with my parents last year, booked 8 months out, and they got one, we didn't. the year before, I got one for my first trip, changed resorts and got another a week later. Some people hav got flash drives, reminder magnets, etc and I've never got any of that.

We received an incredible booklet too, about a month after booking. We basically threw it away because by then it was out of date, since we had then booked FD and switched everything around and the book was for our original plans. It was cute, though, and it's ALWAYS nice to get Mickey Mail!

I never knew it started in Disneyland, thank-you for sharing that!:) I have never been to Disneyland only Disney World. My husband has been to Disneyland and my cousin lives in Las Vegas and takes her kids to DL. That must have been really fun growing up so close to DL!!! I think CP will be a magical start to your Christmas Holidays!!!

We also received our customized Incredibles booklet in the mail. It has a neat Dumbo reminder magnet on the last page that you can stick on your fridge and it has reminders like when to book your ADR's and FP+.

I changed my vacation dates and got a booklet both times. Mine doesn't have a magnet in it though.(I got up to look, thought I had missed that)
I didn't know it was a magnet until I looked really close it looked like it was just part of the back page. Maybe it only comes with some of the books. I guess they know I am forgetful!!

I call it The Incredibles book, but it is an Incredibles themed book that shows you your resort, talks about important dates. A nice keepsake and not necessary but fun to get!! Disney mail!

We lived 7 hours or so from Disneyland. I often feel homesick for Disneyland. The lamp burning in Walt's apartment on main street, being able to see the second apartment being built above POTC, mint Juleps, Critter Country, Napa Rose etc. But I love WDW!

I just checked mine. The last page has a picture of Dumbo and all the important dates, but it's definitely not a magnet. :-/ boo

I wonder why some have magnets and some don't? We had a bounce back booked for Sept. that we had to cancel and that one had a magnet as well. Maybe it is something new they are trying because last year we never got one.

I wonder if they are phasing the magnets out? Or is it for certain hotel levels? Cost cutting measure? We still have the old luggage tags with the castle that are so nice. The new ones are pretty flimsy. My vacation price goes up while some perks go down. Such as life!
Maybe they figure that us Canadians have such a bad exchange rate right now lets give them a free magnet, LOL!

That would be so cool to see the lamp burning in Walt's apartment! I can just imagine him coming up with his ideas for Walt Disney World there!
