Good news! Was able to book TH for the day I wanted with the seating for jungle book and the calendar is updated with the later hours!!
Mondays a Canadian Holiday here so the kids have have a nice long weekend. I think we might take them to the drive-in tonight to see The Jungle Book.Happy Saturday!!!!! I hope everyone is having a nice start to their weekend.
I'm glad my trip isnt for 6 months so they can work out AK nighttime stuff, Star wars

The drive in sounds fun!!! Long weekends are nice for moms too!! No getting munchkins up, off to school, homework, for an extra day!!
ROL starting in September would be great!!!! Although the jungle book show sounds really cute!!

You could probably FP one of them if you don't want 2 dining packages.Hmmmm. I booked for September 3 and didn't look further. Will I need to book 2 different meals. It would be neat to see them both though.
Thanks! Great idea! I haven't been there since the new FP system so I keep forgetting that is an option. You could probably FP one of them if you don't want 2 dining packages.![]()
I am wondering if that is when they expect ROL to be finished by?The 5th of September is the furthest the nighttime hours are scheduled for AK, too. I wonder what the significance of Sept 6th is, why everything stops on that day...? Since we are leaving on sept 29, that's more than a tad inconvenient for us!! However, I would MUCH rather see ROL instead of jungle book!

I was just wondering the same thing. Although I'm sure Disney would make it worth our while, it just doesn't seem like you would be able to see as much of the animals. Guess we may have to wait for reviews. Is anyone planning on doing the safari at night? Not sure how lively the animals will be at night or if it would just be better to go during the day.
Hopefully all will go as planned on Friday and we'll know more Saturday.I was just wondering the same thing. Although I'm sure Disney would make it worth our while, it just doesn't seem like you would be able to see as much of the animals. Guess we may have to wait for reviews.
Last year when we did the safari, as we passed the cheetah, it felt like she was eyeing all of us for lunch! I was excited when they announced the nighttime safari, but then I got to thinking is it going to be creepy having a hyena looking at you in the dark?I am hoping to be able to do both safaris.
Same for use, and also dinosaur. This will most likely be the only time we get to go to wdw, would have loved to ride on both of them.Noooooooo! I just found out that Thunder Mountain will be closed for our trip. Oh well, I guess we'll ride the railroad with our hands up and just pretend.![]()
