Good news! Was able to book TH for the day I wanted with the seating for jungle book and the calendar is updated with the later hours!!

Mondays a Canadian Holiday here so the kids have have a nice long weekend. I think we might take them to the drive-in tonight to see The Jungle Book. It looks like ROL dining packages are only available until September 5, I wonder if it will switch from The Jungle Book to ROL on the 6th?

The drive in sounds fun!!! Long weekends are nice for moms too!! No getting munchkins up, off to school, homework, for an extra day!!

Hmmmm. I booked for September 3 and didn't look further. Will I need to book 2 different meals. It would be neat to see them both though.

The 5th of September is the furthest the nighttime hours are scheduled for AK, too. I wonder what the significance of Sept 6th is, why everything stops on that day...? Since we are leaving on sept 29, that's more than a tad inconvenient for us!! However, I would MUCH rather see ROL instead of jungle book!

September 5th is Labor Day, so I think it's considered the end of the Disney summer season.

I was just wondering the same thing. Although I'm sure Disney would make it worth our while, it just doesn't seem like you would be able to see as much of the animals. Guess we may have to wait for reviews.

I went to Home Depot today and they had a huge array of Disney misting fans and misting water bottles. Under $10 and way less bulky than the one we bought at Disney last fall!

Noooooooo! I just found out that Thunder Mountain will be closed for our trip. Oh well, I guess we'll ride the railroad with our hands up and just pretend.

I am hoping to be able to do both safaris.

Last year when we did the safari, as we passed the cheetah, it felt like she was eyeing all of us for lunch! I was excited when they announced the nighttime safari, but then I got to thinking is it going to be creepy having a hyena looking at you in the dark? Oh well, I guess we'll find out.
