If we are arriving Nov. 15th, what date can I start making ADRs? I know the formula is 180+10 but I keep coming up with different dates when I count it!
We will be there Sept 28-Oct 4. See you at Petals. HahaI got FREE DINING!!!! And I got it on my preferred dates, while my kids are on fall break!!! Wooohoo! It is 2 rooms at Pop instead of 2 rooms at POR, but I've heard good things about Pop, so I am happy!! See y'all at WDW Oct 1-9!!

I'm booked for CRT! Didn't have to pay ahead either since I was booked with the DPMay 19th is going to be a great day. It's hubby's bday, I get to make my ADR and SW will be releasing their flight schedule I need so hopefully booking flights that day
Can I book CRT online?
I randomly look at restaurants and times available and it always says to call for CRT.
I thought we were going to be ok skipping that and doing Akerhus, but I can't be at Disney and not eat there lol

Eta and I did it online lol. Guess I didn't answer your question really did I?
I've got 3 little princesses so we are doing akershus, CRT and 1900 park fare!
We booked CRT online on our ADR date, no problem. Had to verify with a credit card like everything else but didn't have to pay upfront because of the DDP I believe. Easy peasy! Hope you get what you want!!![]()
Yes this is still true...and what I am doing.I've never done it, I just know that others have done it from reading these boards. You used to be able to activate your package tickets three days before your package began, now it's up to ten days early. I believe they need to be activated by Guest Services outside which ever park you want to head to. You can ask at your resort, but they may say no, you can't do that. I personally don't find the people working at the resorts very knowledgeable about tickets. Guest services is the way to go. The one disadvantage is that you can't book fp's for those early days until you go there and activate them.
I think either will be wonderful. It is truly going to be what you make of it. It will be special and magical no matter where you stay.I Switched my resorts on FD from CSR to POR (garden view).... I am now regretting it,....I think...switched because I thought the feel of POR would be better for my 7 yr old granddaughter
Did I make mistake?
I'm not sure, but I don't see why you would. It's the same deal... 2 credits, right? I would assume you could make the ADRs and not have to pay as long as your trip is linked on your account so it knows you have the ddpDo I have to prepay Hoop de Doo or Spirit of Aloha if I'm on the dining plan????? Or does that only hold true for CRT?

I don't think you made a mistake. Both will be nice, but a couple of advantages to POR (IMO) is the boat to Disney Springs and the resort is smaller so not so much walking. FD was hard to get at POR so you scored in that respect.I Switched my resorts on FD from CSR to POR (garden view).... When you book it, the reservation system will ask how you want to pay. If you have dining plan linked, you pick dining plan. Simple as that. You still have to have a card for the cancellation policy but no charge unless you're a no show.Do I have to prepay Hoop de Doo or Spirit of Aloha if I'm on the dining plan????? I don't think you will have a big problem with BOG lunch. It's dinner that seems to be the probably lately. And I have been doing trial runs of our ADR (usually at random times during the day so not at 6am) and I have seen lunch available many times, and we are a party of 9.

I stayed POR when it was Dixie Landings and I loved the boat to DTD but POFQ is my all time moderate favorite. I guess everyone found the secret best deal in town that is why there are never any discounts on this resort.
