I've never done it, I just know that others have done it from reading these boards. You used to be able to activate your package tickets three days before your package began, now it's up to ten days early. I believe they need to be activated by Guest Services outside which ever park you want to head to. You can ask at your resort, but they may say no, you can't do that. I personally don't find the people working at the resorts very knowledgeable about tickets. Guest services is the way to go. The one disadvantage is that you can't book fp's for those early days until you go there and activate them. Are you sure? Isn't that a work-around for people to start their packages before a promotional period?
