I know Princesses are considered face characters, but are do all the face characters go under such intense scrutiny when it comes to facial structure and shape? I'm specifically talking about Anastasia and Drizella. I was turned down a Princess roll but I'm going to audition in March, but I've always loved the thought of hanging out with them.

So, in short:

Turned down as a Princess, still hope for a face character? (Not-as-attractive stepsisters?)

Yes - the same guidelines apply to all. Even though you went for a "princess" audition, they would look at you for all characters. Casting is looking for Princesses more due to need, there's not as high a need for step sisters/villains.
