We are heading out in Sept and our dates happen to fall during F&W...not by our planning! We will have one day in Epcot and dd wants Akershus as her must eat TS and Ds wants garden grill as his must eat TS for the entire trip! I don't necessarily want to do two sit down, big meals in one day with all the good stuff to use snack credits on, but want to respect their wishes for our 7 day trip. I thought maybe if we eat an early bfast at Akershus (I snagged an 8:05am ressie) and a late dinner at garden grill (7pm) and just munch in between on snacks, maybe we can swing it.

The other option is to do CRT on one of our MK days, but I REALLY don't want to use 2 credits and Belle is dd's favorite princess and last time we ate at CRT she wasn't there (plus I like the Akershus food better!). I would rather use those 2TS credits for CP (which we have never done) and Akershus...

Any insight?!?!

We did this last year and worked out well we had a 8:00 akershus and 7:30 beirgarten. And we were able to snack around lunch time. It was about first f&w and I was actually disappointed in the most of the foods we tried... Over priced, small, and not that different from what we have had before and or just not that tasty. But that said I was glad we had a chance to try it and now it is off our bucket list.

Just wanted to add that we loved akershus and beirgarden :). Both yummy and great experiences!

We have done Akershus before and actually liked it better than CRT. I have heard great things about Biergarden too but DS is firm on Garden Grill! Thanks for letting me know I am not crazy for doing two TS character meals during F&W! We plan to try 8 snacks throughout the day between the 4 of us :)

You'll be fine with the early breakfast at Akershus and the late dinner at GG you have planned. In between you'll want snacks so with all the choices available at the F&W kiosks there will be plenty of yummies to choose from. The nice thing with the kiosks is any non-alcoholic food or beverage qualified for snack credits so it's great to use them for some of the more expensive items.
