F&W Festival and snack credits

We were there on Friday, the 1st day of the F/W fest, and we had the Lobster Roll. Sadly, we were not crazy about it. It had a lot of chopped red pepper in it which really overpowered the flavor of the lobster. I love red pepper, but I wanted to taste some lobster too!

I agree, I've never even had lobster roll with red pepper, DH thought it was a Mediteranian lobster roll not Maine

I highly recommend EVERY offering from CHILE, and although I can't remember the exact prices I remember they were very reasonable for those not using snack credits

Today was also the 25th anniversary of epcot, we received a free button and park map that included a copy of the first map presented on opening day.. can't help but think not having spaceship earth open was some kind of mistake?

Here is my rule for using snack credits at the Food and Wine Fest.: I don't waste my SC on items unless they are about $3 or above. Otherwise I pay OOP. Even at that, as much as we love the F&W Fest., we only get what we know we'll eat, and if we are even a little unsure we get ONE and split it. I love trying the different foods, and in some cases you get a decent amount(like when they had the Scandinavian booth and you could get the Kjottkaker and potato mash for a SC. It tastes amazing and its big enough for a small lunch!

Did anyone have the pizza? Do they offer a plain cheese or is it covered with stuff?

I hear you all on using the snack credits wisely. We have already decided we need to get the icecream sandwich from Sleepy Hallow. We really could not use all 25 at the festival. We are going at lunch time and we have 2 small kids that won't eat there at all. We think that they will get something from the McDonalds stand (they take the credits too).
