EYE2EYE shirts - Designs and Information

Just a note that even if he couriered it, please bear in mind that the package will have to get inspected at customs. This can delay things, especially if they determine that duties have to be paid. I do hope you guys get your shirts in time for the weekend though!
 
I am the one from Canada who spoke to eye2eye on Wednesday of last week and was told the shirts for sure would be sent out by courier that day.

I *still* don't have mine and it is 2:30pm here.

I thought for sure that I would have mine before I left on Friday. Now - not so sure.

As an aside, even if the package was sent regular mail from Ontario on Wednesday, I still should have received it by now!
 
Just got off the phone with them.

I was advised that everything was sent on Friday and Monday by courier.:confused3 No explanation why it didn't go Wednesday, but then again, I didn't ask. I was too :mad:

Glad we were all updated and given the chance to pull our order if we knew this timing wouldn't work. :confused:

I will post again once I receive mine.
 
I understand we were not working on these specifically for the Minnie, but because they said it wouldn't be a problem (for me have received mine yesterday... :confused3 He asked when I needed it and I said Monday, April 28) I went ahead and ordered one for my mom, dad and BIL to wear at the Minnie. That is the only reason I ordered them. They will probably not ever need them for another race as this may be their one and only (especially my BIL). I will be very disappointed if I get them after I leave. I can use mine again, but I will really feel like it is money wasted for theirs if they do not arrive in time.

If they could not get them done in time, they really should have let us know instead of saying we could get them in time. That is the only part that is irritating. For me, I wouldn't have minded waiting. I have a WISH shirt I can wear, but now I've gotten the hopes up of my family members because eye2eye said we could have them in time.

If those in Canada do not have them yet...It's not looking good I will have mine on Thursday. :sad2:

Okay, I may regret putting this out there but...Can someone find out 100% for sure if these have shipped?

If they have not, can Eye2eye hold them until the "special WISH courier service" can go retrieve them on Thursday? The only kicker is that those needed for Saturday morning would have to picked up from Shades of Green resort(by the Poly) Friday evening probably around 8:30-9 pm as the "special WISH courier service" doesn't get into Orlando until around 7 pm that evening. If Eye2eye has already shipped fine, but otherwise this will be the best way to actually get the shirts rather than rely on them.

BTW, I didn't order I've just been following the thread and feel it's wrong that they promised Minnie availability and now it seems questionable so...

I'm WISHing everyone who needs a shirt receives it.
 
Bill - I thought your post was a good reminder of the background dealings with the company. I agree they can't be faulted for not being in a position to get things going in time for Minnie.

However, as you say, if they accepted payment from people promising shipment by a certain date and fail to deliver on that, this is a different story.

To update: it is now after 5pm where I live and still no shirt. Thank goodness I had the foresight to have eye2eye ship to my office, not my home as otherwise I would not have received the shirt in time as no one is home by day to accept delivery.

Here's hoping it comes tomorrow and that all the US deliveries are on a super-accelerated courier service with expedited agent clearance through customs!!!

OK I am totally confused?? My shirts aren't being shipped to me personally??? I am so confused.:confused3 I put down for my shirts to be mailed to me.
Can someone find this out?? I need to know now what to do. hoooohummm.
 
My understanding based on my conversation today with eye2eye is that all shirts were mailed out Friday or Monday to whichever address people personally provided.

However, I think a teammate was just generously volunteering to pick up the shirts and transport them in the event they had not been shipped.

Again, this is another option that it appears eye2eye took out of our hands when it unilaterally made the decision that it would not notify people in advance that the shirts would be shipped 2-5 days later than they promised.

I've sent two e-mail int he past two days with no response (except that he sent me another order form when I asked for the status of my shirts!!). If he sent by "courier" - unless he sent by something like Federal Express or at least UPS 2nd day air, we probably won't get our shirts in time. U.S. Post Office Priority from Canada won't do it. And, depending on the type of "courier" used, we may get home to find a note that we have to pick up our shirts (ie: from Fed Ex or USPS) the following day (which may be too late). Aaarrrggg!

He didn't let someone picj them up without approval. He just shipped them late. Lynne was offering to get them and get them to you at the Minnie if they had not been shipped. I'm sure they would have gotten suthorization for that first, but it looks like it's not an option, as they supposedly did ship Friday and Monday.

oh well, whatcha going to do? i did find another lime green shirt i received at a previous race, maybe i'll just put WISH on it somehow ???
 
Thanks for the clarification Carrie. Sometimes I quickly respond without reading all prior postings. I think I may start looking around for a like green shirt (probably a regular t-shirt with short sleeves because I've never trained in a sleeveless). I might also get a permanent marker and just write W.I.S.H. (or WISHer) on the shirt. Well, one thing I know for sure, all of us WISHers are going to have a great time this weekend!!!!

I just want to remind everyone that these shirts are being shipped from Canada. You can not predict the amount of time it will take to get through customs and on it's way. Normal ship time can be anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks for most sizes. I receive letters and packages from Canada for work and personal and delays through customs is common.

Oh...This is just Great! :sad2: I wouldn't be too upset about mine not coming since I have shirts, I just hate for my families to not show up. It will be $ they paid for a shirt that they will probably never wear if it doesn't show up before the Minnie. sigh.
 
cdotla - I do know that several of us saw eye2eye shirts at marathon. However, that's why the plan was for one or 2 people to give tehm a whirl before we started ordering bulk. SO sorry they have not shown up yet. Not a good sign for teh people who ordered from teh US. :grouphug: and :wizard:
