Express Pass

We are a family of 5, and I don’t know that we will be able to afford a premier hotel that offers express passes or be able to purchase express passes individually. If we are planning 5 park days between USF, IOA, and Epic, do you think we need express passes if we want to be able to ride everything (maybe minus the water rides as we are not big fans of them)? We are going April 11-18, 2026. Thank you!

You should be able to do everything in 5 days. Most especially if you are able to come in the mornings a few times and/or stay until closing. The lines really drop in the last few hours. If you're staying onsite, it's very convenient to take a nice long hotel break/nap some days to let you do both. Much better to rest midday during the heat & crowds, and come back to take advantage of the cooler quieter evening hours, than to power through the afternoon but leave 2hrs before the parks close. (YMMV with Epic & I don't think anyone can answer how much you'll be able to get done there).

Will you have Park to Park tickets?
If you’re limited to five days I would do 1 full day at US and IoA each and then spit a third day between them. I would spend two days at Epic.

I’m not sure how much you would get done at each park but I personally think that’s the best option.

And if you have the Park to Park tickets you could also do half a park each day for three days. You could leave the one park and head to another if you feel you checked off your list of attractions for the day.

That’s how I would do it but we’ve always had express pass so hopefully others with more experience with no EP will be helpful.

I purchased the regular Express Pass with our Costco package. I didn’t have the option to choose the Unlimited Pass through them. Is there a way to upgrade from regular to unlimited?
