Apparently, they've changed it to a "Variable Payment" chart. For certain categories (Electronics, Cars, Sports & Outdoors, etc...) they're now paying $10 per review, and for other "easier" categories (Food & Beverage, Books, Beauty & Personal Care, etc...) they've cut it back to $2.00 per review.

Of course, I found this info AFTER I uploaded my first 2 reviews, which, of course, were in the $2.00 categories.

They have the categories listed on the Earning Money page, I believe...

Actually I think I can make a lot more money, Baby and Kids products (not books though) are $10 each. I have a TON of baby products I can review, between those and the toys I think I can do an easy 100 videos for August.

I'm glad I concentrated on household stuff for July, since they now only pay $2 for those reviews.

Is anyone able to upload this morning? In 2 hours I have had 1 go through. I keep getting it to start, sit and then the dreaded "Unable to find video server"
message. I thought being a new month the troubles of the last few days would go away but I am still having so much trouble. I loaded 85 videos the last week of July so I know this should work!

I'm having a hard time too. I got 2 to upload but I gave up after that. I'll try again in another few days. Hopefully things will be better.

I signed up and have been trying to figure out where to go to find out which products that they want reviews for, and I can not figure it out. I was also wondering where you go to put in your paypal account. I know this is probably really easy to figure out, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am actually excited about the new payment structure- time to dig some of the baby items out of the attic to review!

Thanks to everyone for their kind words regarding what is going on with my MIL. With all of the traveling we are doing, and trying to make arrangements for when that time comes is more exhausting than I ever could have imagined, but it is also bringing my family together at the same time. Everyone is helping each other out and supporting one another, which is a wonderful thing. I am still struggling with trying to explain all that is going on to ds, who just turned 4. Any prayers or thoughts you can send my way are so appreciated right now.

Thanks to all my Dis friends- how great is it that we can come here to relax, vent, share, learn from each other, or just distract ourselves for a little while? What a fabulous community!

Hey everyone- just wanted to post a challenge here- I just put it on the other post for expo too.

I still have a lot of videos with 0 plays, and I noticed a lot of other Dis'ers are the same way. My challenge to you today is to watch as many Dis'er videos with no plays yet as possible!

I am at work, but I am going to pull up my Dis friends list, and start letting the reviews play with no sound as I continue to work. Let's see if between all of us we can get every video viewed today! We can post back tomorrow morning if any of us have 0 play vids left.

Great idea! My reviews are still pending:< I uploaded most Saturday, I though at least a few would have been up by now.
I only have added a few friends so far, but I will play them while at work. No sound though:< except on my lunch break.
The site has been so slow, I will work on adding everyone to my list. Then I can watch as many reviews as I can, but support dis members instead of random people.
I hope to do some park reviews. Those will be fun. I can also do our Disney Cruise last February, we went for our Honeymoon. I do not have any video, but do have pictures, we will see if that will work.

Whew, I am still plugging away on watching those videos- I am up to over 200 watched now, but I don't know if I can get them all in before midnight- some may have to go on tomorrows. At least I know I am helping out other Disers- ok, so who is popping the popcorn?? It's gonna be a looooooong night!!!

Hmmmmm, I wonder if this would work for the challenge, open several browsers and start watching the reviews all at the same time?

I don't think opening tabs would work, but it's something I could try tomorrow.

hmm...i have a q....do you know- if you watch somebodys video multiple times, will it count multiple times? the reason i ask- im getting into the habit of opening my browser and just running reviews while im doing things, and some people on my list that only have a few videos, i was wondering if i could watch their videos multiple times and them get multiple credit...anybody know? thankies

im pretty sure it doesnt show up as immediate...i noticed when dgf and i first signed up, her videos i watched took about 24 hours before they showed i had viewed them...
