Gah! I'm SO frustrated! My previews look all pixelly and now I can't upload at all. I may have to wait until August to get in on this too.

I'm slowly but surely working on getting all of ours uploaded....my name over there is quietgirll (yes- I am VERY original ), and dgfs name is silvav. I don't know if we are going to make our full 100 for this month or not. Please disregard how I look in these videos, I finally decided to swallow my pride I am so glad I came across this on these boards... thanks everybody

Not sure if someone else has asked this yet, because I didn't read all the pages, but how do you look up a member ID on the Expo site? I've been looking under the "member" section, but I don't see where you can type in someone's ID. Thanks!

There's a search bar at the upper right side. You have to select Members from the scroll bar next to the box, it's set to Videos as default.

Whew! I think I got everyone updated- please let me know if I missed anyone. I don't want anyone to feel like I was ignoring them- I had to travel out of town this weekend again, and just returned home tonight. My mil is in hospice care, and so we are trying to spend as much time as we can with what we have left. So please be patient with me on keeping the list up- at this point, the Dis is sort of helping me keep my sanity. I can come here and take my mind off things for a while, which is wonderful right now.

Thanks for understanding, and of course a big welcome to all the new Expotv users! Off to go add some new friends......

I don't want anyone to feel like I was ignoring them- I had to travel out of town this weekend again, and just returned home tonight. My mil is in hospice care, and so we are trying to spend as much time as we can with what we have left. So please be patient with me on keeping the list up- at this point, the Dis is sort of helping me keep my sanity. I can come here and take my mind off things for a while, which is wonderful right now.

MeanQueen- I am very sorry for your loss. This is something I wish no family would ever have to go through. Thank you for this post too- we live about 2 1/2 hours away from MIL, so the traveling is getting exhausting. I actually took off work today to sort of regroup, and catch up on getting my house back to some sort of order, lol. Oh, and maybe Dis a little too.

You are right, hospice really is amazing; they have done so much for all of us already just by giving us peace of mind that MIL is being taken care of when we can't be there during the week. I don't know that we could take advantage of their counseling since we live so far away, but I will check into it- thanks so much for the information on that. We are really struggling with trying to prepare ds for all of this. He just turned 4 this week, and he doesn't quite grasp what is happening yet, but is asking a lot of questions.

Hi everyone! I love the budget board and expo tv is fun. Saturday my DH and I sat down and did 10 reviews. He filmed with our digital camera. So far 5 have been uploaded and working on the other 5. I planned to do some movie reviews, but may just wait till this weekend. I just hope they keep the $5 thing. I would love to do 100 a month, but I don't think I can even think of 100 things. 10 took about 20 minutes.
Hopefully the next ones are better, we didn't know it, but you can hear our aircleaner and hubby saying action.
I did my mary jane crocs, Mcdonals Iced Coffee, CLR, lotion, hair stuff, the 10 closest things I could find.


i look forward to watching more reviews, I have checked some out fron dis members. I will have to add peopel as friends.

I am also sorry to hear about your MIL. My dad was also in a hospice facility until he passed away two years ago this coming November. Hospice is wonderful for so many reasons but most importantly to me, it gave my mom peace of mind knowing that someone could take care of him when she wasn't able to do it by herself. I don't live too close to home but I did get to go see him a few times before he passed away and I was impressed with their care. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I wouldn't give up. The site has been giving everyone trouble for the past few days (or more). I don't think they were prepared for their sudden or not so sudden popularity and it seems their servers cannot handle the traffic. Everyone is trying to meet the July quota of 100 videos all at once. Maybe everything is backlogged including registration. We are having a heck of a time getting our reviews uploaded. It has been a loooooooooong day.

We have been having a devil of a time getting things uploaded today. We, and everyone else, are all trying to do the same thing all at once before Aug 1. We had an easier time uploading during the day. The late afternoon's and evenings are killers. The money seemed good when things were running smoothly, but I have to say the time spent uploading and heck, even logging in, is very discouraging. I have learned my lesson. I will try to get everything uploaded in the early part of the month. Hopefully, it won't take so darn long.

About your 30 mins, though. I was having that trouble until I realized my digital camera was set too high. Expo wants the frames to be 340 x 260 (or whatever the number is) and I had mine on too high... 600 or something. I changed it and the uploading time was cut in more than half. Not sure if that is the problem you are having or if it's just the terribly slow expo site.

Hey everyone! I just logged on at expo and it now says "Make up to $10 for 10 minutes of work." It used to say $5. The site is running super slow and after that came up, I tried to log in and it can't find the server. That would be too good to be true if they doubled the amount!
But here's hoping!!
