hmm...i have a q....do you know- if you watch somebodys video multiple times, will it count multiple times? the reason i ask- im getting into the habit of opening my browser and just running reviews while im doing things, and some people on my list that only have a few videos, i was wondering if i could watch their videos multiple times and them get multiple credit...anybody know? thankies

i think ive answered my own question...pretty sure it does work if you watch it mutiple times...fyi

im pretty sure it doesnt show up as immediate...i noticed when dgf and i first signed up, her videos i watched took about 24 hours before they showed i had viewed them...

ty....i was hoping all these ppl were getting credit for the vids i was watching. i just can't get enough of watching everyone.....and, i've found some new products to try!

Hey everyone- just wanted to post a challenge here- I just put it on the other post for expo too.

I still have a lot of videos with 0 plays, and I noticed a lot of other Dis'ers are the same way. My challenge to you today is to watch as many Dis'er videos with no plays yet as possible!

I am at work, but I am going to pull up my Dis friends list, and start letting the reviews play with no sound as I continue to work. Let's see if between all of us we can get every video viewed today! We can post back tomorrow morning if any of us have 0 play vids left.

I also just finally uploaded my first video. It took forever to figure out how to transfer, edit, save and then upload. Hopefully things will go smoother next time around. I did my first on a Combi stroller that I love. Now I just hope that it is accepted.

Interesting- never thought to try that! I have been opening 2-3 windows at a time, and you can "watch" multiple videos at the same time. I am going through every friend on my list and finding all videos that have no views, and watching just those videos first, then I am going to start going back through from there.

I spent most of Saturday afternoon watching reviews. Well at least they were open in another window. The sound on my laptop is broken. I wish the view would show up instantly.
My reviews are taking forever. What is the average time the reviews are pending? I uploaded 10 between last Saturday and Tuesday July 31st and not one is ready yet.
I meant to make some more over the weekend and we never got around to it.
My boss has Mondays off so I can have another windown open at work all day. That's my plan anyway.

I had some from august already appoved. I think 3 of them, but I have probably 50 out of only 58 or so still not done for July.

I have been watching videos too. I find it too entertaining! And to those of you that have watched mine, thanks! And when more get approved, yes, we really own all those little tikes toys! Our house is a plastic house as I like to call it. There are so many I can't do since most are not made anymore!

I still have like 41 from July that are pending. I also have now uploaded 38 for August and all of those are pending too. I hope the July ones start moving over soon.

Yes, a huge thanks to you who are watching mine. I got 98 of my 100 July ones approved. Last were approved yesterday. 2 were rejected because they said that scent of candle is no longer available. Uploading this month has been painstakingly slow for me. 40 done so far though. I'll keep plugging at it through this week and hopefully be done. And I've been watching reviews made by those of you on my friends list, too! I've enjoyed watching them.

Wow, I just realized that it's DH and my 13th anniversary (it's midnight)!! It's also my sister, teresajoy's 19th anniversary with her husband. So, happy anniversary, Teresa!!

My DH and I sat down last night and did 5 videos each, we couldn't stop laughing in parts, we had the giggles so there were several outtakes. He uploaded one of mine last night : timandlesley is the user name and I am hoping/praying it is accepted. Once that gets accepted we'll start making a ton more and uploading like crazy, just wanted to test the waters first.

How big are your videos? I use Windows Movie Maker to downsize mine so that they are only like 7mb. That still takes about 5 min. It also depends on your internet connection - basically your upload speed. It might be clogged too since it's the end of the month. I'm not that tenured with this, but I'd say it seems normallish

butting in here, but i wanted to know i too am using movie maker and my vid says 966 MB when i click on properties, i am assuming this is huge, so what can i do to fit the 50 MB allowed?

wow that took me a long time last night but i finally added everyone in.
i made my first vid and i finally figured out how to upload, it took about 5 minutes for it to load completely now i guess i wait till they approve it. i already have plans for my next ones, that i will try and tape this afternoon.
Thanks to you guys i'll have some extra cash for the world!

Yippee!!! My first videos have been approved! I did five in July to try it out and four were just approved today. One is still pending but I'm thinking it will be denied because, once I edited it, it was under 1 minute. I'm surprised it didn't just get rejected at the same time!

Anyway...I'm looking forward to going hog wild with my reviews now and catching up with everyone else. It still seems too good to be true!!!!

Yeah!!! 3 of my reviews were finally approved! So exciting. Of course I think they are terrible, but its still fun. You can hear DH saying action, will have to have a hand sign next time and of course the lovely air cleaner in the background. Will have to turn that off for the next batch. Plus I seem to talk very fast. Just something I do. Will have to try to slow down.
I watched reviews on and off today. Only a few with sound on my lunch break. I am very anxious to do some travel reviews. I watched the Epcot one today. I have tons of photos so I could do each park. Plus our honeymoon was a Disney Cruise. I am just so excite do finally have reviews.
