Yes they are quite different. You pay a lot more for the convenience and luxury of being in the main building, being steps from the monorail, restaurants, and shops. Plus the main building houses the majority of the suites and honeymoon rooms, and offers theme park views and views of Cinderella's Castle. The main building club level (Royal Palm Club), has a larger lounge with a lot of seating, plus it offers beautiful views of the lobby and live music.
The exterior Sugar Loaf building is also club level and offers the same itinerary planning and refreshments but they have their own small lounge area.

32 Days until our arrival at the Beach Club CL. Obsessively changing and adjusting my ADRs! Can't wait.

I'm right there with you! 25 days to go and I can't WAIT to get out of this horrible below zero weather!!! :beach:

Hi, apologies if these have been asked before -

we are staying 1 night bc cl - can you only access club lounge up to check out time?

Can you usually check in before check in time and access lounge?
We are getting off disney fantasy and I know my dd won't eat breakfast on the boat before travelling to resort (sickness) so am wondering if we get off asap if we be able to get to bc club lounge for breakfast?

Thanks

Lounge privileges are available as soon as you check in, even if you arrive prior to official check-in time and if your room isn't ready. I believe you can visit the lounge up until closing time the day you check out.

Goofylou, we've taken full advantage of the club lounge from early morning check-in day to late flights on departure day. It's one of the things I love about CL - with a late flight, we have a place to go (and usually a place to change because most - but not all - CLs have a restroom near the lounge) after check-out. I didn't book CL for Easter Weekend because the additional price is significant, but I'm still considering it with a 9pm flight. Would be great for the kids to have a few snacks before leaving for the airport.

I'd say AKL CL, but that's because I'm tired of following all the Poly construction stuff! We stayed Poly CL last April and again last month, and loved it, but last year was a quick stay and last month was for the marathon - so lots of running and too cold to swim. At this point, at least for us, it's just too uncertain at Poly. We also stayed AKL CL last month (before marathon weekend) and our boys LOVED it. Enjoyed the lounge, transportation was great (prefer non-bus transportation, but if you're on a bus, AKL offered the best service in our experience) and the theming is fantastic. I don't even like animals and I enjoyed AKL CL. :)

AKL, hands down. I'm a member of some social media sites and the views of the main pool areas are not pretty at all at the Poly. They are way behind schedule.
I'm actually apprehensive about my August stay.

I agree, I was considering it for this summer but after seeing Steve's pics on facebook I quickly changed my mind. I can't wait until it's finished, I miss my Poly!!!!

I just found out that I might inherit a little money from my uncle's estate so I'm thinking of upgrading our August trip to club level which we've never done before. As far as deluxes we've stayed at AKL, BC, CR, and YC in the past and liked all of them but BC was probably our least favorite. If I'm going to upgrade to CL I want it to be worth the upgrade and I haven't read the best things about YC and BC club levels. I've always been in love with the Poly but my DH and DD think the GF is amazing. I'm just starting to way the pros and cons of each CL to decide which one would be the best for us so I would love opinions from everyone.
