EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Any info on CSR CL ?
I couldn't find any.

We've stayed at CSR CL. It was very enjoyable.

As far as how to answer, I don't think the afternoon offerings are going to equal breakfast. But then, that's true at other CL's too.

You can always get an assortment of beverages, including lattes. The staff was also very quick to ask us if we needed anything. They were willing to get us milk outside of breakfast hours, so it is possible - if they have a something in the back rooms that they would be willing to share it. But I would not count on that being the case.

We arrived for breakfast, then mostly did not come back until late afternoon when we were there. I think some snacks go out around noon, but I'm not 100%. They had tortilla chips, salsa. Later they had more. (veggies, hummus, etc)

One thing they offered was a kind of trail mx- they might be able to give you some of that.

Breakfast, by the way - goes until 10am. Your room also has a fridge. So one option would be to dimply find one person willing to stop by the lounge by 9:50 am. You are allowed to take food back to your room. Use disposable dishes s a courtesy if you do. Breakfast is items like fruit and muffins, cereal. Unlike some CL's, CSR had milk in closed milk boxes, so that's easier to transport.

Are there any gluten-free options in the lounge? I have celiac disease and cannot have any gluten.
Let the IPO know in advance. Each resort handles allergies slightly differently, but the gist is usually that you talk to a chef upon arrival about your needs.
They will reasonably try to meet them.

CL guests always have access to fresh fruit (plastic wrapped whole apples) and canned soft drinks. Usually more.

Like I said each resort is slightly different, and WDW allergy procedures change over time. Usually though they will make you a special plate or something. Sometimes you will get prepackaged items - I'm not positive what brands they are currently offering. Check in the DISabilities section. posters probably won't know about CL specifically, but they are the same brands property -wide. The IPO will also have it noted on all your ADR's. With a food allergy, ADR's and CL are very useful.

You may have to allow the chef a little time to prep your plate, and the CL staff to deliver it.

The staff at all the resorts have been excellent.

If you are okay with CL staff going through the line and letting you know which dishes meet your needs, that is sometimes also an option.

Oh, and if you happen to visit DTD I do suggest visiting the Babycakes NYC (assuming it is still there. I think it is, I just haven't been in some time. They are not inexpensive, but they may take DDP snack credits.

Thank you so much! This really helps! It can be very hard to go out of town because sometimes it is difficult to find anything I can eat. Gluten free options are becoming more widely available and I am so thankful for that. With all the food in the lounge it was going to be a real bummer if I couldn't eat any but it sounds like it will be fine. ADRs will definitely be the way to go and I have no problem with CL staff going through the line with me.

We were at Aulani two years ago and the chefs were amazing!!!! They made me the best Gluten Free crepes EVER!!!! It is more the buffet style stuff and quick service meals that I really worry about. Cross contamination is a biggie for those. But like you said Disney staff is amazing. So I shouldn't worry. Thank you!!! :-)

Just upgraded to AKL club level for 4 nights in November. We are doing a split stay with 4 nights also at the Wilderness Lodge. 1st time ever at club level. We are so excited! This thread is so helpful in learning what to expect! Any advice to making the most of our stay is appreciated. We have some wonderful ADRs planned for every day. Kind of a shame with all the treats that are offered in the lounge.

Congrats on upgrading to CL :goodvibes. We don't stay CL every trip, but when we do we really enjoy it. We've never stayed CL at AKL, but it's one I want to try as we love AKL and I've read nothing but great things about their CL. Hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

Congrats on your upgrade! You're going to love club level! But be forewarned...it's addictive! ;) Enjoy your trip!!:goodvibes

Do the sunrise safari if you can--it's fantastic.

I will second the suggestion to sign up for the Sunrise Safari -- it really is a great experience. Also, save a bit of room for the treats in the lounge -- they are yummy. We also just enjoy spending some time there relaxing (with what little time we have to relax at WDW). And check out some of the resort activities - there are fun ones for kids but also for adults.:goodvibes

We enjoyed our stay at AKL CL last month. :thumbsup2 If I ever go back there I would request a room as close to the elevator as possible. So we could try and cut down on the insanely long walks from the room to the lounge. We found we didn't go there to grab a drink or snack as often as we normally would because it was such a long way.

So excited!!!

Just made a change to our October trip. Instead of CSR Business Class for the first night, I switched to CR CL in a King Room!! Trying to read up as much as I can on The Contemporary since we've never stayed there before. DH has always wanted to stay so I am going to surprise him and not say a word. Thank GOD I took advantage of the BB offer last year - not sure I could have pulled off this trip without that discount!

Can't think of a better way to celebrate our anniversary: 1 night at CR CL, followed by 4 nights at YC CL :yay:.

What trail was your room on? I'm sure you've said so sorry to ask again. I've waffled back and forth and most recently landed on requesting Kudu trail. I guess the most important thing I want is a great view of the animals, close to elevator for the lounge would be 2nd choice.

Thank you! I thought about trying to switch to CL at GF too but since we are already staying at the Grand in a couple of weeks, I decided to go with something new. Well, that, plus all the Grand had had open in CL were 1&2 BR suites and that price tag made me want to :faint:

You're welcome :).

It's always fun trying a new resort. I hear you on the price tag of the GF suites :scared1:. Staying in one of those for a night or two could probably pay for a whole week somewhere else .

Hi,

I never stayed club level before, but this year I will be spending the last 2 nights of my 6 night stay at BWI club level.
I know one of their services is that they help find you dinner reservations if possible. My question is, do they only do that for the nights you are booked at club level or for your whole Disney trip?
For example, I'd love to try to get a reservation at CRT, but would prefer to go during the Magic Kingdom part of our stay. I only want to be in the Epcot area the last two nights and don't want to go all the way back to MK just for dinner.

Thanks
