I thought you worded that perfectlyI am home!!
What a great weekend! I will try to get the pictures up on a site where you can view them. I only have an ipad at home so will need to upload and then post the link.
It was an amazing upgrade and everyone in CL was fantastic especially Kenneth.
One thing I will say, and don't think I am looking a gift horse in the mouth, because I don't want it to come off like that. Just my observations:
I will preface this by saying, I am in the construction industry so I look at things differently. I also know they are getting ready to do a remodel in the next few months, so some of this is probably just waiting for them to gut the suite.
The suite is located at the end of a T shaped hallway and has 2 doors. One says "Commodore Suite" and the other just has the standard room # (same room #) and then there is a door that leads to a hallway for Housekeeping and has extra sheets, etc. inside. I know this because the door was almost always open. Loud banging could be heard at all times from this area especially if you were in the Master Bathroom. All hours of the day and night. Sounded like housekeeping carts being pushed around and banging. Not terrible, but noticeable.
Nobody could make the TV/Surround Sound work in the living room. 2 people from Engineering came, one didn't know and the other got the TV to work, but not the music.
Lots of wear on furnishings, which, like I said is probably going to be a moot point after the renovations. Several light switches and lights did not work or were not plugged in. I had to actually pull out the couch and plug in the living room table lights. The doorbell was not operational and if someone came to the door and you were in the bedrooms, you would not know.
Master bed mattress was in need of replacement (i am sure it is on schedule) but what I was amazed by was that in this great sleigh bed with the beautiful comforter and shams had sheets that were scratchy and ill fitting. I have been at BWI and GF and they have the really nice, high thread count sheets..these were basically regular sheets..just was odd for such a pretty room and bed.
I say all this because, I have no idea what this room costs, but if I paid rack rate, i would be miffed that so many things were broken/missing.
The staff was AMAZING! Other than missing turndown on the first night, every service was over and above. I was even given a 2nd Welcome drink because my car died coming into the resort and they said after all the panic I had, I looked like I needed it.
Food was excellent and there were so many Cast Members, it reminded me of the Staff/Guest ratio at WL CL.
Again, like I said, I am in no way looking this amazing upgrade as anything BUT amazing..after literally hundreds of stays, this was the first time for a full on Pixie blowout, but I think I would be remiss if I didn't mention it to someone who might actually consider booking the room before the renovations.

You're welcome.
Just wanted to say that I think the Poly is an awesome resort with or without CL. We've never tried CL there and have only stayed at the Poly once, but that was enough for us to fall in love with it (it is now our favorite resort after only one stay). I have read alot of great things about Poly CL and want to try it myself, but I wouldn't hesitate to book a standard view room again. Good luck with your trip plans.
Thank you!!!!! The resort looks amazing and I would love to stay there. Having you say that makes me feel better about not being able to do CL this time.
Okay, another question and please don't get mad at me.. LOL So, as I mentioned above, my daughter (10) will be sleeping with my parents at their resort allowing us to stay at AKL CL the one night.. BUT, do you think they would let her come up on the floor with us to hang out a little while before she goes off with my parents to go to bed?
Also they took away my ability to message so I can't even ask them a question or ask if I can have a copy of my old signature to get my resort stays.![]()

My trip won't be until 2015, but with all the changes with magic bands and fast pass, does the concierge service help schedule the fast passes (through my disney experience?) Is this in the future? Just curious![]()

Also not fair because nobody said anything to me first, they just took it away. All I had was links to my Pinterest and Twitter. Nothing was linked to my business website or page. I just had them there because of photo sharing and trip reports. I never intended to break a rule. Heck I don't even do that much business in disney travel anyway and I could care less if anyone on the dis even knew what my job was.
At least they could have sent me a message or given me a chance to save my list of resort stays. Now I don't even have those dates as a memory. After 13 years here helping people and bringing the DIS a lot of visitors this is the thanks I get. I feel heart broken.

Thank you so much for finding those!!!!!!!! You have made my day!!!I had no other record of which resorts we had stayed at or the dates. Thank you thank you!!!
Pixarmom thank you so much for that tip, I deleted everything out of that profile, I didn't even know I had that there, I just wasn't even thinking about that being public, that was stupid of me. I think I was just so excited to even have a job after 14 years of being a stay at home mom I'm not use to thinking about things like that. I just wish someone from the DIS would have told me something first because I would have deleted or changed anything they asked me to, I feel like a criminal or something.![]()
Didn't you receive an email notifying you what the infractions are? Usually it's only for a set period of time, like 30 days...but having your sig stripped is one of the punishments. Probably only temporary?
Thank you for those suggestions, looks like I might be allowed back in 30 days. I still think a warning for a first strike would have been more appropriate for someone who's been here 13 years. I would have happily changed anything they asked me to change. Oh well, I'm off to WDW next week!!! They can't take THAT away!!!!![]()
