Is there a way to get that in advance? I mean, I realize it can't be too far in advance, but at least early enough to arrange some ADRs around it?![]()
KTTW Cards are available to all guests who would like them instead or in addition to MBs. This is in part due to the fact that guests can opt out of the MBs if they object to the use of long-range RF trackers embedded in the MBs. The KTTW Cards only have the short-range RF trackers, which my DH prefers. We used both MBs and KTTW Cards over Christmas. WL CL often automatically provides guests with both, but if you aren't automatically given them at check-in, simply ask for as many as you would like and they will give them to you immediately. We will be back at WL CL next week! I just realized that this time we won't be getting key cards - I usually keep them as a souvenir of our stay because the little envelope usually has the room number on it. I'll miss that!
Looking forward to enjoying the club again! We first stayed here last year and got one of the x08 or x10 rooms, can't remember which but I am basing it on the map and it looks like a southside woods/outer view. We didn't specify a room view, but it was nice and quiet and near to the lounge.
What kind of view can I expect at WL standard CL? I really would be happy with anything, but I'm wondering about a room request? I'd like to ask for a MK view, but I'm thinking it's a woods view right?

Only 2/4 Honeymoon Suites sit atop the loading dock. They are on the 7th floor so the view below is quite a distance away. Looking straight out you can see Wishes/castle/CR from the North Wing CL rooms which are considered a WOODS View.Unless you get get some major pixie dust or fork over some cash, That MK view is probably not going to happen. At WL CL standard view is code for rooftop view, or worse loading dock view. but we have stayed WL CL and gotten some woods with a tiny little pond. Good luck![]()
A Standard Club Level room at WL refers to the room type and not the view. There are 3 possible views with a non-suite/non-Deluxe CL room at WL:
Woods: North Wing with views of woods and MK/CR/Wishes beyond.
Woods: South Wing with views of VWL and woods beyond.
Inner or WL Courtyard: Views of geyser, pool and Bay Lake/EWP.
The Room Assignor will know exactly what you mean if you request a "View of the castle/Wishes." You don't have to specifically request "North Wing, Woods/Wishes view," but you can if you like.
Yep, no problem requesting that, but it can't be guaranteed. There's a lot more View/CL information in the WL/VWL thread. The hyperlinks to all the sections are located HERE.Must say I am finding these questions being answered very helpful for me. So...... if I am standard club, all those you mentioned are options for me... Here I was thinking also that roof top or loading area were my choices. We have done club here but they were filled and offered us to stay on another floor. Never stayed on the actual concierge floor. I am going to ask for the North wing, wishes view and not feel one bit bad about that,Lol.. Hopefully that will work out, if not I will be happy if we don't get the delivery truck view

There are Standard VIEW rooms available for booking at WL, but they are not CL rooms. These non-CL rooms in the North Wing have views below of a loading dock, but again, if you are on a high floor, you will also have a partial Wishes view at a Standard View booking rate. The Standard VIEW South Wing rooms face toward the bus stop, but have lovely woods views beyond. These are the lowest priced booking category at WL, but many prefer them because the room doors open up to the beautiful lobby below and some rooms have partial MK views. CL views are not bookable, but you can request one of three possible views and also bunk beds.
You're welcome and yes, that view is an INNER or WL Courtyard View. There are actually two non-suite rooms that directly face toward the courtyard and lake, these are rooms 7035 and 7127. They are next to the suites and are like Bear Face rooms. The other INNER CV rooms have amazing views of the geyser, pool and Bay Lake off to the left or right, depending on which wing you're in.Thank you for the information, We are staying WL CL in August, and your information gives us hope on a CL View. Question, so you can actually get a view that looks over the lake or the pool area in CL , that would also be nice.

It will! HA!
I stayed CL only once at WDW and it was Poly...and O. M. G. granted it was YEARS ago...but it was lovely! We got a CL Garden view, had a ground floor room that looked out onto the "quiet pool", we basically could walk out our door and into the pool...it was awesome! The lounge was fantastic!

Thanks I will be utilizing that thread in waiting for our next trip. Its nice to have a fresh thread on the WL lodge. You can never have enough information on your trip to Disney, And I thank you for taking the time out to start it. It is going to be beyond helpful for our family in planing.![]()
You would NOT want to see our luggage. We take 4 large suitcases, a carrybag of toiletries, my laptop bag and purse, dh's work bag, and the kids backpack. Yep that's 9 bags! And it's always 9 every time. When we get to the airport I make everyone count off 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 .... and then we do that every time we interact with our luggage at the airport shuttle, checking bags, baggage claim, taxi rides, in the resort, claiming from bell services, I annoy my family big time.

I requested a hot menu item from YC CL this week for our stay in June. They emailed it to me. Of course they mentioned it was subject to change. My DH has food allergies and it helps me to plan appropriately.

Having said that, room numbers do not appear on KTTW cards or any room card keys at hotels anymore. The only information on a KTTW card is your name, an ID#, the type of reservation, such as Room Only/DDP… the dates of your stay associated with the specific KTTW Card, whether you are an ADULT or CHILD and whether the card is good for charging.
If you'd like a room close to the OFC lounge, the South Wing rooms are closest and you can add "Close to the lounge, South Wing" to your reservation. The Woods View rooms face toward VWL with woods beyond VWL and the INNER Courtyard View rooms face the WL Courtyard, the geyser, pool and Bay Lake.
I hope you have a wonderful stay at the OFC!
Hi gang,
Just dreaming a little this morning and decided that I would love to try all the CLs at least once. Based on your experiences, are there resorts you like better at different times of year.
Thanks so much!![]()
