I feel like Mr Rogers...won't you be my neighbor? :goodvibes I've let my crops rot lately, but I can send you trees. How about Scrabble, Wordtwist or TextTwist?
I'm not a fan of word games.

Love beans, my mom's pinto with meatballs are my favorite.

I like beans (Chili, Baked Beans, green beans, etc) but they don't always like me.

No I do not like canned veggies and that is what I grew up on. Once I started eating frozen, the canned is :crazy2:

Most of the time I don't use can veggies, except for beets, 5 bean salad and sometimes green beans. I use frozen and prefer frozen over canned.

In the winter, we use canned corn & canned beets. I also use canned beans. But the rest of the veggies, I either use fresh (in season) or frozen. We use the canned beets to make beet salad when we can't get any type of lettuce.

I have never made meatballs. I don't really buy them either. If I make spaghetti or something, I just use ground meat in the sauce instead of meatballs, more meaty that way.

My daughter lost two of her teeth tonight. They were both shaking, and needed to be pulled out. So, with the assistance of my husband, they are now in her tooth fairy pillow.

So today's QOTD is-
How much did you receive from the tooth fairy for each tooth?

I received 25 cents a tooth, WAY back when!! :wizard:

DD received $5 for her first 2, all in one night tho. After that, $1 per tooth or, a webkinz. I was better off paying the $1!!! :rotfl:

Now, I pay NOTHING! She's 11. ;)

I tried making meatballs once, they were little hockey pucks, after that I buy them already made.

I don't remember how much the tooth fairy left, but I remember waking up (I am a very light sleeper) when mom was trying to leave money for my sister. So I knew at a young age it was just mom (santa too).

Do you make homemade meatballs? If so, how do you make them?

Yes I do. If I do say so myself, they are yummy! here's my (well, actually my mom's) recipe:

MEATBALLS

3 lbs. beef
Salt
Pepper
Garlic
Parsley flakes
Bread crumbs
Worchester sauce
Parmesan cheese
Water

Mix all ingredients together. Shape into balls and bake in 400 degree oven until well browned, about 45 minutes. Turn every 15 minutes or so.

I don't remember what the tooth fairy left (I lost my 1st tooth when I was 4, that's 44 years ago!) but it probably was a quarter. I'm the 2nd child of 6, I doubt our tooth fairy could afford to leave more than that!

I received about 25 cents per tooth when I lose my teeth many years ago. We gave my sons $1 per tooth, and when my sister told me that she gave $5 per tooth, I told her make sure her kids don't talk with my kids about the tooth fairy, which I don't believe they ever did, surprisingly.

I do make home made meatballs when I make them...not really a fan.

I think I probably received 10 cents for my teeth....that was sooooo long ago!
My kids received $1 and a pack of sugar free gum

I received 25 cents per tooth for my teeth. My kids have started losing their teeth, and I give them $5.00 per tooth. I think it's a bit high, but at least I can go to the dollar store, and they can get some cheap toys or some writing books. Have a great day everyone!

Trish

I received 25 cents from the 'Tooth Fairy"princess: per tooth way back when!! ;) When my kids started losing their teeth they got $10.00 for the first one,$5 for the second one and a dollar for everyone after that until they caught on to who the "Tooth Fairy" princess:was!!!;):rotfl:

Veggies, and dip.

Do you like them? What are your favorite vegetables that you like to dip, in dip? And what is your most favorite type of dip?
