I love veggies and dip, my favorite veggie to dip is celery but I will eat anything but cauliflower. I prefer dill weed dip, but will eat the occasional ranch.

Dill weed Dip

8oz. sour cream
2/3 cup mayo
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. dill weed (found in the seasonings section)
1 tsp salt

Mix all together and left set overnight for the flavors to develop.

Note: I just purchase the dill weed mix that pampered chef sells, and follow that recipe.

I love to dip carrots, celery, pea pods, broccoli....I think I'm just like you Heidi--everything but cauliflower. I like dill dips too! Ranch works as well. I used to love onion dip but I think I OD'd on it, I never eat it anymore.

I think I have to try that recipe, it sounds delicious!

I love veggies and dip, usually use ranch or onion dip, carrots, celery, pepper, broccoli, are some of my favorites.

I only eat french onion with chips or pretzels, but lately it makes me sick evertime I have it.

My husband had just cut a pineapple that grew in our backyard. So today's QOTD is-

Do you have any fruits that you grow?

Nope, nothing but a lawn & flowers.

I love the idea of a fresh pineapple from your backyard! :thumbsup2

We have a lemon, a lime and a pomegranite tree in our backyard in AZ, but they are new and not producing yet. I can't wait for them! (and be there to use them ;) )

Unfortunately no!!:sad1: Just shrubs and flowers!! :flower3: Would love to have lemon, limes, oranges and yes even pineapples in my backyard!!:thumbsup2 That would be heaven!!!:cloud9:

We have blackberries, they are the tame ones so no thorns! I also grew tomatos and banana peppers this year on my back deck!

We used to have 2 apple trees and an nectarine tree. They got some kind of disease. We tried to save them, but finally cut them down this spring.

I WOULD LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a pineapple grown in my backyard! mmmmm-mmm

I love fresh pinapple!

Hope everyone is having a nice day. Here is another QOTD-

As I was listening to the radio, the two DJs were talking about food being left in your workplace refrigerator. They asked if there was food left in the refrigerator with no name, left overnight or a couple of days, is it fair game-(fair) to just go ahead, and eat the item in there?
I know that this can have many different answers, and opinions.

I personally had this happen to me. I brought a frozen sandwich, and had put it in the freezer. I was planning on microwaving it, but when I had gone to find it, it was missing. My co-workers, and I took different lunch breaks, and almost everyone had used the refrigerator to put their items in, or items for the kids attending the preschool. But this had happened to me not once, but twice. So, I thought that it was fishy the first time, but when it happened again, I knew that I wanted to find out WHOwas the person eatting MY food. I found out who it was, and from then on, tried not to put anything in either the freezer or refrigerator. Or, if I had to, I would put it in a plastic bag, tie it up, and put my name on the bag.

I never touch food in our workplace refridgerator, whether or not there is a name on it. I don't trust anyone else's cooking, LOL!

Years ago, when there were more people working here, people had lunches stolen all the time, whether or not you put your name on it. It was horrible. A few years ago, we got smaller fridges, and each group puts their food in it--amazingly, food is almost never stolen now.

We have many different kind of apple trees, many my son grew from seed, and will be many years before we get any apples from them.

I'll answer the last 2 questions:
Sometimes we grow strawberries in out back garden, it depends if I can be bothered to grow then or not that year! We also have 2 grape vines in our back garden, one red grape and one green grape. We don't have many grapes this year though due to the excess snow this past winter.

Food in the work fridge - I don't touch anything that I haven't put in there myself. We have a rule at work, if it is in the fridge you only eat what you put in, if it is on the table in the middle of the staff room it is open to anyone. One day I had put a cheese and cracker pre bought package in the fridge. The cheese and biscuits were in a pre sealed package, someone opened it ate my cheese and left the biscuits! I was not amused, I had been looking forward to them all morning!
