If you were to discover a time capsule that your parent/parents had put together when you were one year old, what would you hope to find?

Hey, guys! I'm back and I survived! Thank God for Xanax!!!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt and walked to Times Square every day, sometimes more than once. The hotel was fabulous! And the beds were great! The kids sounded great in Carnegie Hall and we got to keep the playbill that was posted on the outside. Thursday night we went to see Wicked. If you get a chance, it's definately a must see musical. The kids were so hyped up about it that the band director decided that Wicked will be their marching season program next fall. He had already decided on something else but since this next year is not a state competition season, this will be so much more fun to do and they will have a good time playing around with it.

We went to the Twin Towers area and our tour guide did a very good job of talking to us about it. The band went on a Circle Line Harbor Tour. I tried to go but just 10 minutes on the docked boat, I had to get off. So, I had the privilege of walking all the way from the harbor to my hotel. There were no cabs to be had until I got to Broadway and by then I knew that I didn't have that much farther to walk so I just kept going.

Friday evening we met up the the Naked Cowboy on Times Square. You know the one that only wears a cowboy hat, boots and a pair of tighty whiteys? The girls that were with me were so excited to get a picture with him!

Did anyone happen to see the band on GMA? Carol was on tv. In the last 30 minutes you could see her behind Chris as he talked with the visiting chef. The kids loved being on GMA even though they had to be outside the studio by 6 am and stood in line for over an hour. Then they were crammed in like sardines for two hours. Carol said she really liked Robin but thought Diane a little stuck up.

If you were to teach a subject at a high school, what would it be?
Remedial math if they were to offer it. I love algebra and trig but would not like to teach it.

If you were to be any type of doctor, what would you specialize in, and why?
I don't think that I would like to be a doctor.

If you had to eat out everyday for dinner by yourself, which restaurant would you choose, and what would be your top three things that you would choose to eat?
To be honest, I don't have a favorite restaurant at the moment but my favorite would be one that had a huge selection of different foods to eat.

If you were to be a voice of a cartoon character, which character would you pick?
Jerry of Tom and Jerry. He doesn't speak. ;)

If you were to discover a time capsule that your parent/parents had put together when you were one year old, what would you hope to find?
A photo album, memoirs, things like that.

So glad your trip went well!!!!!
I love hearing about NYC and your experiences sounded awesome.

Welcome Home.

If you were to own a restaurant franchise, which would it be, and why?

I would pick Chic-fil-a.

I love chicken. I love their philosophy and beliefs. I love always having Sunday off to spend with your family or worship as you wish. I love how they always give back to their community. I really want a cow themed truck!

I googled to check if Chic-fil-a was closed on sundays, and is impressed that they are, so why. We don't have one here, or I have never tried anything from there.

I would want a In-N-Out Burger here.

I would own a Sports Bar/Hot Wing place. That way, I could watch all of the games AND eat hot wings all day! Heaven!

If you were to create a menu in which your foods would be served at a sporting event, what 5 items would you make?

Well, in real life this would never happen, so lets go with BBQ wings, BBQ pulled pork, BBQ pulled Chicken, BBQ chips, and Bomb Pops. :rotfl2:

*Eggplant- nothing, don't care for it
*Squash- add it to stir fry
*Crab- maybe crab cakes
*Bacon- baked beans

I'm so tired of cooking...I'd rather just come to ya'lls restaurant and eat.

*Eggplant- very lightly bread and fry it and yum yum yum
*Squash- bake it and top w/ brown sugar
*Crab- well crab salad I think
*Bacon- does this have to be improved upon, it's near perfection
*Ground beef - tacos

Now I am so hungry
