It would have to be a 30 minute Rachel Ray meal party. My youngest  her. I'd like to have her cook for me.

I don't like any one day over another, so I couldn't answer that question.

Nancy, where are you moving to?

Geesh, I must have been off the boards longer than I thought! :goodvibes

AZ :sunny: But not for a while yet....maybe 6-9 months...but that depends on when this house sells, so it could be sooner.
DS is there. DD is going in July when she gets out of school.
Can't wait for the family to all be close again

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

I was looking online at different stores, and I came across a store that sold lemon bundt cakes for an :scared1: eye popping amount. Wow, if I could sell my cakes at that price, and go into business, I would be very happy.

So today's QOTD is-
If you were to make something to sell online, what would it be, and how much would you charge for it before shipping, and handling?

Scrapbooked Altered Paperbag Albums. Depending upon how much embellishment a person wanted - $25 - $50 dollars.

Here is a sample

HAPPY EASTER!!

I don't know if there is anything I would want to make at this point to sell on-line but at a younger age I probably would have been interested in candy.

Happy Easter!

Chocolates--molded chocolates, lollipops, and choc/sprinkle covered pretzel rods. And I have the same reaction as you, Patsy, when I see what people charge online!

I actually looked into selling dog treats that I make. You can make them look like real cookies/cupcakes.

Nancy, we were in AZ this time last year. It was really pretty. We have family in Scottsdale and Goodyear.

I have looked into buying molded chocolates, and lollipops as party favors. You should start a business :).
There is a company here that sells dog treats, and I think that would be a neat gift to give a furry friend.

Well then ...after we move, you will have to let me know when you visit and we can do a meet. There are a couple other DISers in that area also :)

If you were to open a restaurant, what type of food would you serve, and what would be your house speciality?

Home cooking with chicken fried steak as my specialty. It's hard to find a good one these days.

I have trouble figuring out menus for dinner for the 5 of us:rotfl2: I don't think anyone would want to come to my restaurant!

What different types of party favors have you recieved at parties, and weddings? Which one was your most favorite, and least favorite?

The only wedding I've been to that had party favors was my neice's. Everyone (couples received one together) received a wallet sized pewter photo frame that had our name written on a creme sheet of paper. It's very nice.

I haven't received party favors at a party since I was a kid.

One thing I've seen that I've liked is the Yankee Candle party favors. Maybe I'll see one of those at a wedding one day.
