We already had our celebration, so today just cleaning house and going to a movie.
Tomorrow going to a movie and just lazing around the house.

We're just hanging out today. We might go looking at Christmas lights tonight. I might get out and go to our open air mall to stroll around some. The weather is perfect (sunny and in the 50's) for getting out.

Tomorrow we're having dinner at my parents home.

Christmas eve day I have spent preparing for the Royal visit (what I like to call it when my mum and dad and my MIL and FIL are visiting at the same time - some how I have to make sure I do a full spring clean before they arrive!!), Christmas eve itself, colapse in front of the TV with a glass of champagne!

Christmas day, we have my parents, my MIL, FIL, BIL and SIL coming over for the traditional English Christmas dinner. In the morning we will go to church, then get the food ready for dinner. My parents will arrive around 2pm, the inlaws around 4pm. Dinner (which DH and BIL cooks!!) will be ready around 6pm. So we eat the full Turkey dinner followed by Christmas pudding. Then after the meal we will open presents, play a few family board games, chat etc. Then late my inlaws will go home and my parents who live a lot further away will stay the night.

Tomorrow is our big day. Church in the morning, and DSis will be bringing our DUnc over. DMom lives just a few doors down from our Cape May house. Cape May NJ is the home of the Coast Guard recruits base, where they do basic training. We participate in Operation Fireside and at noon, we'll pick up 4 recruit guests. Around 1 we have brunch, traditional Polish foods.

The recruits that can go off base as guests are near the end of the basic training time, but they haven't been able to call home for some time, and usually after we've become acquainted they take turns calling home, we watch Christmas movies, exchange gifts, and around 6 we have our "traditional" steak dinner. DH cooks and the recruits have to be back by 8 PM.

It's a beautiful, clear day here in Cape May. Santa should have no trouble finding houses tonight!

Bobbi:santa:

PS. On Wednesday, DH, I and our dogs head for Boston for a fun day/night with DGC and family and friends!!! We continue visiting friends/family through the week, and we will go home to Ohio on Sunday.

Tonight we go to a Christmas Ever dinner/open house at our Friends house, we exchange gifts and then go to Midnight Mass together.

Tomorrow we go to my Aunt's house for a sit down Christmas dinner, eat until we bust, exchange gifts and then play cards!!!!!

:santa: Merry Christmas!!! :santa:

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Hope you are all enjoying your Christmas Day.

So, todays QOTD is-what was your most, and least favorite gift that you had recieved?

We got a lot of Wii games. They seem to be fun. I also got a new sewing machine.
Least favorite was a broken turtle and some cologne.

What are your Christmas Eve, and Day plans??

Christmas Eve we always celebrate with my DH's mother and her husband than off to the 11:00 Christmas Eve Candlelight service. I love this service, celebrating the birth of our Christ child, it just gives me this wonderful feeling inside.

Christmas Day we will be heading over to my sister's house to celebrate with my family. There's 21 of us and growing, with new wifes, gfs and bfs, this year there will be 25 of us. It's a fun day, we have a nice dinner where everyone brings something, than we open gifts, the adults draw names, it's fun finding out who's name everyone had.

Merry Christmas!!

Been a crazy Chrsitmas recent. Last weekend had a cold, and vegetated in bed most of the time.
Worked a full day yesterday. In the evening went to Epcot and watched the Christmas Illuminations. :santa:
Today get the kitchen ready for tonight's meal, with a good ol' Honey Baked Ham. :yay:
Sometime by the weekend ending we want to try being balloon handlers at Universal's Macy Day parade. We did that a few years ago and really liked it.
Back to work tomorrow...

DH and I got a leg lamp last night from our dear friend's daughter and her husband. What a hoot. We love it.

The best gift was their second daughter got engaged earlier this year. She has a learning disablility, so her wedding day was something we all hoped for but were never sure it would happen. The guy is wonderful. He has a college degree and a good job.

Then to top that off their third daughter got enaged on Christmas Eve. So another wedding to attend!!!!

DH got me the DH lite I wanted and many games. I have enjoyed Brain Age. I also got Qdoba gift cards!!! Yummy!!!!

The only "bad" gift I got was my Rudolph and Bumble animated skating rink. The reason it is "bad" is it does not work. DH is going to open it to see if it is just a loose wire. We should be able to fix it. Even it we can't I will still keep it. It is a beautiful decoration.

Merry Christmas!!

We spent yesterday traveling to my nieces' house, my in-laws, my sisters and my parents. It was a LONG day! Today we are having Turkey and the fixings with just my immediate family (those that live here-LOL!). This is my day off from "hosting" and we stay home all day. The kids love it this way!

Best gift, hmmm..... honestly I think it's the card my DD9 gave me. It's just a normal card but inside she wrote " I love you guys I am the most blessed girl in the world Merry Christmas" It just was so sweet and I love it!

Worst gift...nothing really. I liked everything this year.

Merry Christmas!!!

Our day went well. The kids liked all the things that they received. I got to see my cousin and her family that lives in Oklahoma.

Favorite gift - lamp
Least favorite gift - I really like them all so there isn't one. What I would have liked though is something that they thought of themselves instead of me having to give them a list. Oh well .........

:santa: Merry Christmas!!! :santa:

Christmas was great, spending time with family was one of my highlights.

Everything I received as gifts I just love. My DH doesn't usually purchase many Disney items but this year he went all out. I wouldn't return anything. I'm going to turn him into a Disney fan yet.

We will keep our Christmas decorations up until the weekend after New Year's.

We are taking our decorations down this coming weekend. We have time.....the outside will depend on the weather though. It will take a few days to get everything put away.

I'm hoping to get all of my decorations put away today.

Nancy, my condolences in the loss of you kitty cat.

I think we will start to take down our ornaments tomorrow, and will finish up by the following day.
