I've never made my own salsa.

I use it only when eating Tostitos.

Never made my own

We use jar salsa for dipping chips and sometime to cook in a chicken dish

I've never made salsa. Joe tried to once and it didn't turn out.

I put it on tacos or just eat it with chips. Occasionally I might use it as part of a recipe.

I have in the past, but prefer store bought salsa. Right now, we have a tomato salsa, and a pineapple salsa. We eat both of them with chips.

If you were to make your own juice using fruits, and vegetables, what type of fruits/veggies would you add in?

I just purchased a candle today-banana nut bread, and it smells yummy. I tend to get scents that are baked goods, or fruity.

What type of candles do you purchase?

Apple for the most part. Sometimes peach or cherry.

Perfumes bother me so I stay away from anything flowery. I'm real picky when it comes to scented candles.

So for the month of October, I need to cook/bake something with a bunch of pre-teen girls. When I think of Oct., I think of pumpkins, and apples. What sort of dishes, would be easy to make in a short period of time that the girls would be able to eat-(we already did pumpkin pies), and enjoy? I was thinking pumpkin pancakes, and pumpkin muffins. Ideas?

Pumpkin muffins!!

Buy a can of pumpkin puree (2 cups worth) and one box of Spice Cake mix.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and cook for 18-22 minutes (depending on the oven).

They are SO GOOD. I make them all the time, as they're an affordable work week snack (it costs less than 5 dollars and makes about 16 regular size muffins or 36 mini muffins). They turn out so moist on the inside, too. :)

Thank you both for the ideas.

Anyone have good caramel recipes that will stick onto the apples nicely, and tips? One tip that I know is to get the wax off of the apples, and to be sure it is not wet before dipping. Any others?

Bacon.... do you like bacon? Regular, maple, smoked....? Thick sliced or thin sliced? What is your favorite way/dish to eat bacon?
