Here you go Patsy.
Old Fashion Sugar Cookies
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Milk (optional)
Colored sugar (optional)
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Combine and mix well; flour and baking powder.
Stir flour into butter mixture, 1 cup at a time.
Chill dough for 4 hours.
Roll out and cut into shapes, brush with milk and sprinkle with colored sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets, at 350 for 15 Minutes.
*Note - When rolling out use powered sugar instead of flour.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar (i use dark)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
12oz Ghirardelli chocolate chips (i use milk chocolate)
Stir together flour, soda, and salt.
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Gradually add flour, beating well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tsp. full onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8 -10 minutes at 375.
Blackbottom Cupcakes
Filling:
8oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
6oz chocloate chips (i use milk chocolate)
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and salt. Add chips, set aside.
Cake:
2 cups water
2/3 cups oil
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
Mix well the first 4 ingredients.
Add the next 5 ingredients.
Mix well and fill cupcake papers 1/2 full.
Spoon 1 tsp. cream cheese micture ontop.
Bake 20 minutes at 350.
Peanut Butter Cups
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups peanut butter
2 1/2 cups powered sugar
12oz chocolate chips (i use milk chocolate)
Melt the chocolate chips, set aside.
Mix together butter, peanut butter, and sugar and spread in a 9x9 inch pan.
Top with the melted chocolate.
Cut into squares before completely cooled.
Store in the fridge.
Peanut Butter Frosting
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 to 2 1/2 cups peanut butter (depends on how peanut buttery you want it to taste)
4 cups powered sugar
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla
In a large bowl; beat butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
Slowly beat in 1/2 the sugar.
Mix in 1/4 cup of the cream.
Beat in remaining sugar.
If necessary, add a little more cream util the frosting reaches a good consistency.
* Note - Makes enough to frost one 9" cake (single layer) or one 9x13" cake.
Heavenly Hash
2 (28oz) cans fruit cocktail
4 bags mini marshmallows
2 (16oz) containers sour cream
Combine all ingredients and mix together throughly.
Keep refrigerated.
*Note - Make ahead one day before serving to let the flavors combine.
