My sister calls me Himey.

My husband calls me his little air head. :rolleyes1

Everyone else just calls me Heidi.

I figure i have a short easy name, i don't need a nick name.

As for yesterdays QOTD: I love salmon with rosemary, dill and garlic wrapped in foil with some Olive oil and put on the BBQ for maybe around 15 to 20 mins...YUM!

As for todays question: Trish is the shortened name my Dad gave me, and all my friends use it. The only ones that call me Patricia are the ones that don't know me, or telemarketers.

I like grilled salmon and salmon patties.

Joe started calling me Susie while we were dating. All my nieces and nephews call me Aunt Susie. My mom goes back and forth. Other adults in the family call me either one, Susan or Susie.

I would plant daisies! I love how simple and elegant they are. They can be dyed crazy colors, or they look great just as is- no fuss!

I like gerber daisies and i LOVE LOVE LOVE lilac bushes

I don't have a specific flower--I would probably just plant a wildflower mix so that it was colorful.

I plant imatients all along the front of our house every year, but not from seed.

I planted Moss Rose last year from seed and a mixed packet. Not all the flowers grew from the mixed packet but one flower lasted all through the winter. Since it was mixed, I don't have a clue what it is.

I planted bulbs in the pots out front. Some came up back in January but the snow we had just about killed them off. We'll see if they'll make it back.

I just like to plant flowers. I want to put some day lilys in.

As far as cooking, I cook most nights. I have a number of cookbooks but lately I've subscribed allrecipes.com and kraftfoods.com to have recipes emailed to me daily.

I cook mostly quick and easy types of food.

I like to eat a lot of different foods.

I like recipes that don't take a lot of ingredients or time in the kitchen.

I've bought a wildflower mix for the front bed this year, along with the flower seeds that Meriweather sent me in the C exchange. I've also got 3 rose bushes (a tradition with us), and have bulbs that survived the snow we had earlier this month. I've got a problem with the neighbours cat using my front flower bed as it's litter box, so am limited as to what I can put in there that will survive the neighbours cat:headache:.

As for food, I love to cook and bake, so I've got a certain set of cookbooks that I reference alot for baking recipes. Otherwise I like to keep meals simple, fast and without a great deal of prep work. I've got way too many cookbooks, and intend to give them to my fav thrift store over objections of my mom in the coming months.

I like many different flowers. My favorite are cosmos, then sunflower, .......
I have been seeing all these differetn bulbs from Robertas and other companies on QVC, and wish they would send them here. I love the different varieties of flowers, and even trees, and bushes. I want to get some oranmental grass maybe in a few months or when I find a place for it.

Do you cook nightly? Mostly every night.
How many cookbooks do you own? Not sure, but I do not sure cookbooks too often.
What types of foods do you usually cook? It depends on the mood, but my husband likes meat.
What foods do you like to eat? I like asian foods, and spicy foods.
If you were to learn how to cook a new dish, what would you like to learn? Mongolian beef

We don't celebrate, however as it turns out i am wearing green today.

At our house, we wear green, eat corned beef and cabbage.... since my daughter is having a sleepover, I made green jello, and green cupcakes.

Everyone at the kids school wore green. Because it was a PAC food day (Pizza), I went to volunteer and wore a green pony tail holder. Otherwise we won't celebrate it.

The kids are keeping me busy. We are thinking of going to the park. So todays QOTD is-

What is your most favorite thing to do or play with at the park? Now or when you are younger.

When we were little my mom took us to a park and we always swam.
