I hate to say it, but due to the unpredictabliliy of our lives, we all eat at different times. I usually feed me and the kids around 6-6:30pm and Dh eats around 8:30+ as he's trying to get things done, fixed, and trying to get a bunch of unfinished projects done.

When will you start to put out Fall, and Halloween decorations?

I don't decorate for the seasons, just Halloween and Christmas. I will decorate for Halloween Oct. 1st

I decorate for Halloween at the beginning of October. Can't wait!

I'm not sure. I've still got my Spring wreath on the front door. Totally forgot to put out the Summer one. I usually put my Fall wreath out about now. Guess I should do that. The Christmas one goes up December 1. I really don't decorate the special days anymore except Christmas now that the kids are grown and not around much.

I don't decorate for Halloween till either the day before or the day of. Usually put out at least 4 pumpkins. Last year I found 2 pumpkins joined together, so I carved a string bikini onto to it and called it a "bumpkin". The kids were clueless when they saw it, but the adults laughed their butts off. We are going to dress up the 1952 fire truck this year for Christmas in our front yard with lots of lights. Have a great day everyone! I have to admit that I've never been much of a Halloween fan, till this year. Now that I'm visiting DL in all it's Halloween glory starting Oct 2 for 9 days, I'm slowly getting more enthused about Halloween in general.

If you were to only have one type of make up to use on a daily basis, what would it be?

Good question as I have only ever wore makeup on two occasions, for seinor pictures and for my wedding day.

 

[BELLEDOZER]

I only use makeup for when we go out someplace nice, or traditionally during Christmas time for the various dinners we go to. I tend to buy cheap makeup, as there's no point buying the good stuff, as much as I do like the better quality stuff, as it expires before I have a chance to use much of it.

I haven't worn makeup in over 15 years. Maybe lipstick but probably a chapstick that has a color tint to it. I wear chapstick all the time.

There has been some talk on the boards about Disney trading pins. So my question is....


What is your most favorite pin you own?

Ohh that is a hard one, I like all my pins. But if I would have to pick just one I would say this one.

 

[Kirby]

I only have one Disney pin and it's the one we received when we stayed there in 2000. So I guess that is my favorite since it's the only one I have.

No plans.

We are headed to a Labour sponsored picnic, if this darn drizzle rain ever lets up. My DH is the Financial Officer for his local, so we kind of have to show up, and be a part of it. All the provincial Labour parties show up, have booths, things for the kids to do, and lots of little freebies. The food is cheap (hotdog 50cents, pop 25cents, etc). It's something we go to every year, and get to meet the heads of all the labour unions, as well as the leader of the official opposition (which I've met many times before so it's no big deal to me)of our provincial gov't. No plans at the moment. We might drive to Commerce to see Carol.

No real plans for us. DH ended up with the day off so that he could help out his partner later this month and work a day for him then, so we're just enjoying having him home. I think we'll have to head to Sam's and stock up on all the necessities like dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc. Then dh is grilling burgers!!! YUM!
