We are going to take our first 7 night cruise and would Love for it to be on the Magic.we are just wondering what things there is to do on the ship?We are thinking on the Eastern so we would have 2 days at sea.We are 27 and 30 YO.What kind of stuff is there to do in the evening after dinner.

We have been on Carnival twice on the 4 night cruises and we had more than enough to do.They had adult comedeian shows and midnight buffets and casino. So I was just wondering what there is to do on the ship to keep us from getting bored. What time does everything start winding down?

Please give me your suggestions.

Thanks,
Misty

There are shows every evening, either before you dinner or after depending on when your seated for dinner. Early dinner seating goes to the show at 8:30 & the late dinner seating goes at 6:00 or 6:30.

There are adult shows later in the evening & some bars including a sports bar.

There is not much to do after 1 AM. No casino. After dinner, there are shows nightly that are Broadway like productions. Then there are the dance parties, 80"s etc. They're a hoot!!

I'm not sure about the pools, I seem to remember the hot tubs stay open.

I've been on a few other lines, and I did not miss the casino. I loved the shows on Disney. They are Disney through and through.

Best advice - check out the navigators on

dcltribute.com

or

cast a way club .com (no spaces)

and see what interests you!

From movies, shows, commedians, dancing....there was plenty to do for adults and families!

Enjoy!

Just back from the Magic.

I did the adult activities and shows at the beginning of the week, appetizer, cocktail, fruit carving, theater backstage and gem seminars.

I had planned on doing more through out the week. After our port days, all I wanted to do was to relax by the pool/hot tub/rainforest. I had done this alot before the port days also.
Thurs. (day at sea on the eastern) I spent from 10:30-5 at the pool. I had a great time chatting with everyone. I had also stayed out until 2 dancing at and after the 80's show. So, it really had zapped my energy. I didn't really mind though!
