Evolving MK May Hours - The Good and The Bad

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but the May hours - they are a' changing .

We will be at WDW May 24 thru June 1 and I have been watching the hours pretty closely. The hours have changed recently.

First the good news..........Whereas there used to be only one SpectroMagic scheduled on the 24th, there are now 3 on the 24th, 28th, and 31st. They also added an E night on the 24th.

Now the bad..........Previously, I believe there were 2 nights that the MK closed before 9:00 - the 27th and 30th, which both had E nights, which they still do. Now, the MK closes at 7:00 on the 26th, 27th, 29th, and 30th. A 7:00 close on Memorial Day . Wow! And there is no E night scheduled. Can bookings be that bad?

This info comes from the Disney website, and a call to Disney. I'm sure all will change again before the end of the month rolls around, but keep an eye on the schedule as the hours for your dates may change.

We are going May 28-June 1. I am so EXCITED that Spectromagic got added for May 31!!! That parade is by FAR my favorite thing at WDW, and we missed it last Feb due to rain. We have a PS on Wed, so can't make it then, but we'll BE THERE on May 31st!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!

I am ok with this! I am so happy that they added a SpectroMagic on the 28th, because we will be there the 25th - 30th and until now there was no SpectroMagic.

Question - Is there still an E-night on 5/27????

What happened to spectromagic and FIS May 13? It just disappeared. Does anyone know anything about this?

Safekids- Boy, did you scare me! But I just checked the WDW official site, and both Spectro and FITS are still scheduled for 5/13/03. The site must've had a glitch while your were looking, that happens a lot.

It would have been a bummer if they had cancelled, we totally rearranged our PS reservations and tourning plans for the 13th when they extended the hours a few weeks ago!
