Could someone give me a clue as to what email address these offers might come from? My spam numbers in the thousands daily (yes, thousands) and I would hate to find out I am tossing these offers. Any suggestion as to emails address(es) I can filter would be a great help.

I am NOT asking for the code, only an idea of what to look for.

Thanks so much!

Laurie

I whitelist anything with disney in it - just in case they change their email addresses.

Great ... now spammers are going to use disney in their subject lines :)

I got the flier in the mail it was to my address but had my father in laws name on it. I booked and paid for a room for him three years ago. I called Disney I told her the situation and she didn't even ask for the code she just confirmed my personal information and I was able to book my trip. I think perhaps the code is some way linked to your address in the CM's computer?

Edited original post explaining that these discount codes "sound" the same as other discount codes so you should spell out the code using an example word for each letter.

Now have separate codes for..

Room Only
MYW Tickets & Room
MYW Tickets & Dining & Room

See the link in POST # 1 on this thread.

I called last night on this...no go for me. They checked to see if I was eligible for a code based on my home address. I did not try and force the issue. So...good luck if you call..but don't count on getting it.

Just keep trying! You just have to get the right person on the phone. Be very nice and chatty with them! It worked for me! ~Amy

It really does depend on what I would jokingly call CSR roulette..

The answers you might get on a given call depend on which agent you get on the phone. That's not right. The answers should be consistent from employee to employee.

They are not. In light of that, call till you get the answer you want. It may or may not 'stick' and be honored but .. then again it might.

At this point - who knows?

My husband called 3 separate times over the last few days and he always got a very knowledgeable, polite agent. I never got a male agent in booking any of our family trips and all three times, he spoke to a man. Funny.

I told him he's going to book our trips for now on, he's so much better getting information.

I am trying it for Oct 13-20. Wish me luck!!!!! (I'm on hold!)

Darn, no savings, the amount she quoted me is the same as booking it normally without a code!

Your checkin date must fall within one of the date ranges in the first post of this thread.

Oct 13th is not one of those days.

VerFonz - can you be more specific?

What Resort / How Many People / And exactly what dates?

Maybe the resort you keep asking for is 'sold out' on the 40% discount rooms for the dates you keep asking for.

If you can move up one week these are any set of dates
10-21 - 11-03

Good luck

I just read that, duhh on my part. I am stuck, that is when DD is off school for 3 days. Oh well, now I have to figure out when else and maybe go twice!
