For those of you that hadn't noticed, I started the Trip Report for our April 2011 trip. You can check it out here:
Houston, We Have A Secret: A Texas Vacation With A WDW Surprise
Which means only one thing for this trip report: it's time to put it out to pasture. But not before one last wrap up post...
Our family has been very fortunate to experience multiple trips to Disney World. Our children have, in a sense, grown up there. During his first trip, Evan was barely walking. This past December, I had a hard time keeping up with him as he sprinted up the queue for Goofy's Barnstromer. There are many things we've never done at Disney World, but we've done quite a lot. And as much as they love seeing it, I don't think our kids get the wide eye wonderment of walking up Main Street, USA anymore.
Which is why it was so awesome to have Kaylene and Kayden along and be able to experience that "first time" feeling with them. It must be contagious, because I caught myself several times getting downright giddy for an attraction I'd done numerous times. Kaylene - you guys are welcome to come along anytime we head down!
The Treehouse Villas are amazing and I really hope we'll be able to stay there again. You really feel like you were out in the woods all by yourself. They are spacious, well appointed and feel just like home. Sure, the bus service was a negative, but it wasn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
And I'm so glad we "rediscovered" Ohana's again. After not eating there since Madison was a little tiny baby, we ate there during this December trip, our recently completed April trip, and we have an ADR there on the 4th of July this year.
And isn't that what Disney is all about? Family, Friends & Fun?
I want to thank each and every one of you for reading along and commenting on this report. They are a blast to write because of the support from viewers like you! I hope I did well enough to entice you over to my new trip report and every one that I plan to do in the future.
See Ya Real Soon!
