Everything Old Is New Again! - A Dec 2010 Trip Report : THE FINAL ENTRY page 45

The one and only....
IMG_4734.JPG

She is the one that we would have had a great video of a few years ago. She discovered Danny had a videocamera and made him her personal filmographer (:confused3) for several minutes. It was hilarious! If only he had turned the camera on when she started instead of off! :headache: :sad2:

I love that Madison has grown attached to such an obscure character (he's no Mickey mouse by any means :confused3) and could make his day like she did! Of course if her personality is as bright and sunny as it looks in the pictures, I'm guessing she makes the day of cast members and characters whether she is their number one fan or not!

And kaylene. :scared1: i have 3 boys...the oldest is nearly 22. In those 22 years I have never felt the need to whip out a cup in the middle of a crowd and have any of them pee in (or on :sad2:) a crowd. At least it was the end of the day and you didn't have to walk around all day like that. I would love to have been a little birdie when the cm escorted "mama" out of fantastmic to hear what kind of logic she had.

didnt know you can get free drugs at wdw.:woohoo: ill have to keep it mind.:thumbsup2

Oh Yes- go to First Aid for all those little things, bandaids, tylenol, allergy meds etc. You just sign in and they give you drugs. :rotfl:

I thought I'd check in to see if an update since I probably won't be on much this weekend (we have a decision to make about our dog who we found out yesterday has cancer). And lo and behold, a new Barry update and a great one as always. I'm not a fan of Stitch...but that is a cute picture. And the one of the kids with Lotso is adorable.

You don't need a plug in for your TR. With your wonderful writing style and Bambi's wonderful one-liners, everyone wants to follow. And I can't wait until the start of the new one.
I'm so sorry to hear about your little puppy. We had that very hard decision back in 2008. It's never easy.

Yeah, just read this sentence out of context.:lmao:
Why do you think it was in bold? :thumbsup2
Hmmm... so where is the quick service place now?
I think half the restaurant is Quick Service during lunch, but then switches to all table service at dinner.
Good point. When I first heard of La Hacienda de San Angel, I thought it was replacing San Angel Inn. It really is kind of confusing.
I've been there, and I'm still confused. :confused3

Studying the map up to the very point that it is time to leave... he really must not trust your navigation skills. Either that or he was looking for the nearest bathroom thinking it would be the fastest way to find Kayden.
Let's see....nearest bathroom....oh, look, there's a cup right here.

Speaking of which, what was Kayden's final princess kiss count? :lmao:
Ummm...all of them?

Bambi is wise in the ways of the Force. :yoda:
She's never see Star Wars and never plans to. That can't really make her part of the Dark Side, since she doesn't know what it is. Let's say she's gone to the "kind of a grey area" side. :confused3

I guess even Disney's budget cuts are starting to show.
They're not really cuts in this area. More like pruning the budget.

Wow! If the kids are acting up, can I go in and get them some Benadryl?
It's worth a shot. And if nothing else, they may have ear plugs for you.

I'm still confused, actually. :confused3 Who's on first?
I don't know. Third Base!

This sentence makes me feel very proud for some odd reason. :goodvibes
Why? Are you a Russian submarine captain? ;)

Is the profane version going to be in the director's cut of this TR? :confused3
Never though of doing a director's cut before. Maybe when I release the Platinum Collector's Edition BluRay.
Very well said. :thumbsup2
Thank you.
Maybe just your imagination I have seen another trip report where someone got to ride the Tronorail! :lmao:
I've even had people comment on here that they rode it. Clearly, agents of Zurg if I've ever seen one!

Question you mentioned on your Animal Kingdom day you got Zebra domes... Can you get those in Animal Kingdom and where if you can?
Luved your trip report and can't wait for the next one :)
We got them at the Kusafiri Coffee & Bakery Shop. It's just to the left as you walk to the Kilimanjaro Safaris. I've also gotten them at Mara, the counter service restaurant at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I am sorry too but I started laughing at the above part, but figured he was first just going to pee in some bushes. Not like I haven't see that before :rolleyes1
It's not often when peeing in bushes is the better plan. :sad2:

The babywipe woman was your angel. She was able to get you out of rage and shock and point you towards the CM to help make it right.
Always nice to see a little of my faith restored in humanity. :thumbsup2

As for the Urine free team :rotfl2: Did you enjoy the new place? ( don't want to get all confused with which hacienda is which)
The counter sevice place next door is pretty good so I hope the sit down is good too.
Yes, it was good. But to me, there's not much of a line between Bad Mexican Food (Taco Bell) and Good Mexican Food (just about everything else). A few spices may be different and toppings may be switched in and out, but mostly Mexican food is pretty hard to screw up.

And there you go, the underside of society running to Mexico for free drugs. Sad really. :sad2:
It was just so much easier than trying to smuggle cheap prescriptions in from Canada. :rotfl2:

great update barry!! if you needed me to pee on your leg so you have an easier act to follow in your tr, you should of said something when we were down there.:lmao: didnt know you can get free drugs at wdw.:woohoo: ill have to keep it mind.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the offer, Dave. You're really a true friend.

All of those streetmosphere characters over there are awesome! Too bad you didn't get the video, though.

She does have quite a following ;)

I think I'd be scared for the future of the human race if I heard what her logic was. That being said, I really would like to hear what her logic was!

Oh Yes- go to First Aid for all those little things, bandaids, tylenol, allergy meds etc. You just sign in and they give you drugs. :rotfl:
I'll have to keep that in mind! Thanks!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

That is great!!! :lmao::lmao:
No, That's Nice.

Excellent.. I shall take note and we will be trying them when we go thanky doo :)

For those of you that hadn't noticed, I started the Trip Report for our April 2011 trip. You can check it out here: Houston, We Have A Secret: A Texas Vacation With A WDW Surprise

Which means only one thing for this trip report: it's time to put it out to pasture. But not before one last wrap up post...

Our family has been very fortunate to experience multiple trips to Disney World. Our children have, in a sense, grown up there. During his first trip, Evan was barely walking. This past December, I had a hard time keeping up with him as he sprinted up the queue for Goofy's Barnstromer. There are many things we've never done at Disney World, but we've done quite a lot. And as much as they love seeing it, I don't think our kids get the wide eye wonderment of walking up Main Street, USA anymore.

Which is why it was so awesome to have Kaylene and Kayden along and be able to experience that "first time" feeling with them. It must be contagious, because I caught myself several times getting downright giddy for an attraction I'd done numerous times. Kaylene - you guys are welcome to come along anytime we head down! :thumbsup2

The Treehouse Villas are amazing and I really hope we'll be able to stay there again. You really feel like you were out in the woods all by yourself. They are spacious, well appointed and feel just like home. Sure, the bus service was a negative, but it wasn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

And I'm so glad we "rediscovered" Ohana's again. After not eating there since Madison was a little tiny baby, we ate there during this December trip, our recently completed April trip, and we have an ADR there on the 4th of July this year.

And isn't that what Disney is all about? Family, Friends & Fun? :grouphug:

I want to thank each and every one of you for reading along and commenting on this report. They are a blast to write because of the support from viewers like you! I hope I did well enough to entice you over to my new trip report and every one that I plan to do in the future.

See Ya Real Soon!

Thanks for taking us along with you Barry! It was fun and I look forward to the Houston/suprise trip!:thumbsup2

I enjoyed reading your report and will be over to the new one soon. Thanks for sharing your family with us.

Barry - this has been a great report. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I do have to say that this picture just says it all to me. You can just see the thrill, excitement and pure joy in his face. You have so many other great shots too, but this one has just stayed with me. I can just hear him saying "Yesssssssssssssssssss" :rotfl:
Roxy was a little surprised by this. So what does Roxy do? Same thing any self-respecting Disney World Cast Member would do. She made him a special shake - layered with every flavor of milkshake they have.

Now, to go start your new one. Have a great day!!! :goodvibes

Barry, thanks for taking us along on this trip, and I'm looking forward to hearing about the next one. It was great to see WDW through a newbie's eyes (even if they did get peed on).

I always look forward to your TR's. I know I'm guaranteed to laugh a lot (both with you and at you!:thumbsup2). And I know I'll get some great pictures. Most of all, I know I'll see an awesome family! :grouphug:

Barry, thank you for letting me come along for the ride on your TR and getting to know the lovely Bambi and your wonderful children (oh, and you too!). It's been a delight and I can't wait for the next one, and the next one, and the next one.....
