Last time I tried this it logged me out so I'm making it my own thread with posts to follow...
My trip was from May 11 - May 19
Here you will find everything that has changed since the last time I was there (Aug 2001)
Each post will be a different theme park and an other section
Here goes.......

-C of P is closed, according to a CM it may be taken out completely (not something I wanted to hear)
-Time keeper was closed for reno
-the chef and in turn the menu has changed at the liberty tree tavern. The rolls and carrots have changed and there is no apple butter.
-the "side street" off to the left from main street (when facing the castle) is now a gift shop
-Lion King is closed for reno
-Mike Fink didn't seem to be running either although I didn't confirm this

while I was there (May 12, Mother's Day) the park closed at 6pm this was a sudden change in schedule. It wasn't written anywhere and you really only found out if you asked or if you were in the park that day. The day before everything said 8pm?!?!?

-in Spaceship Earth there are now TVs just as you go up at the beginning telling you what you are in (time transport vehicle) and what you will see (human's travel in communications)
-TT has this wierd "thing" at the exit of the ride do not wait in line it may look cool but it is a sorry excuse for a GM promo
-TT also used to have a truck that came out and scared you as you were testing your brakes. this was when they would take your picture etc. This is no longer there.
-most of the Living Seas was closed basically only the main tank was open not even the "ride" to get to the main tank was operational
-Journey into imagination was closed and rumour has it they are revamping and bringing back Figment!

Not much here is different really...

But I HATE the hat...
it blocks the view of the theatre (which is closed for reno) and all it has is pin trading (I know this is a big thing I just think its gotten out of hand)

-One man's dream is great for those of you who get weepy when thinking about your Disney memories beware.

-this probably isn't news but don't sit anywere back of the middle rows for Muppets 3D, you don't get the full effect and you can't see the chef and the stuff going on behind you, even the fireworks didn't have thier full effect.

If you haven't done Primeval Whril you must do it. Make sure you pee first. I laughed so hard I nearly lost it...everytime! Looks tame and like a kiddie ride, and is sooooo not! (although it is child friendly)

That's it for AK not much changed here either.

This is the other "stuff"

-packages that were previously sent directly to your room are now sent to the gift shop in your hotel lobby. This means you must stand in line with everyone else who is making last minute purchases on that day to get your purchases (this always takes time for both parties)

-the maps for the parks no longer have dates on them. This means you don't know in advance what is closed for reno, what time anything is etc. to compensate for this they have little pieces of paper that have the times of everything on them. This would be OK but at your hotel they only have one paper with general times on them for all the parks. To get detailed info on the parks you have to actually go to the park. ( not fun for a collector of pristine maps and info like myself)

-make sure you ask the day you are at a particular park where the bus will pick you up. they were "re-organizing" the bus stops and changed them every day. (we found this out the hard way, waiting for the bus one day at #2 figured it would be #2 the following day also...wrong!)

I think that finishes everything. Dispite what it seems in this report I had an excellent time as per the usual!

If you have any questions send them my way I'll be glad to answer them.
