I always stay on-property,but I am just curious.I know day-guests are not allowed to participate in rides and attractions during Evening EMH,but are they allowed to stay in the parks and shop and eat at the restaurants? For example, can they dine at the World Showcase restaurants that are open during Evening EMH at Epcot? Thanks. :)

Here's a bump.

I'm almost certain the answer is yes. If it's like e-ride night, you need a wrist band to ride the rides, but you can stay in the park without one.

..Just read your comment about evening EMH at EPCOT. From what I understand, the restaurants in WS typically do not stay open any later than normal -- but I've heard otherwise recently. It may be for the Food & Wine Festival.

I have been wondering this question also.

We are going to be staying on-site. But my husband's family from Florida will be visiting us while we are there. We were wondering about this also...Does anyone know for sure?

::MickeyMo In the past, they've only checked for the wristbands when entering the rides. However, most of the restaurants aren't open. Only a select amount of CS's are. A lot of stores have been closed too. EMH is mainly for the rides. Hope that helps somewhat. ::MinnieMo

Well, I don't know if this was just one grumpy CM, but when I was at Pizzafari 15 minutes before regular closing (evening EMH), he told me that I'd have to finish and be out of there in 15 minutes, since I didn't have a wrist band. Even though Pizzafari was open for EMH, he informed me that they could only allow guests in who were wearing wrist bands after 5:00. I was "legal", but I hadn't gotten my wrist band yet only because I was exceptionally hungry. When I offered to show him proof of my "legality", he insisted that I had to have a wrist band. Fortunately, another CM overheard and told me "Don't worry, honey, you take all the time you need."

Wristbands are only required for rides/attractions. Everyone is welcomed to stay and shop, eat, or just walk around. As another poster said, there are not too many restaurants open during the evening EMH. You might want to check at the nearby resorts for late night dining. Look over at allearsnet.com for menus and some dining hours.
