ETA for getting to WDW via ME if arrive at MCO at 6pm?

Hi!
Any guesses what time we will be at wdw via Magical Express if our plane is on schedule and arrives at MCO at 6pm on a Saturday?

You should be at your resort no later than 7:30.

Why are you asking? I'd be reluctant to make an ADR for dinner except maybe at my resort. 7:30 is a good estimate but your plane could be delayed. There might be a line to check in. You might have to wait for a bus to take you to a theme park. Forget about having dinner in a resort which requires 2 buses, unless you're willing to spring for a tax.

Lewisc, I am just wondering if we will do a park that evening or just settle into the hotel since we will be within walking distance of Epcot. (Goes with figuring out what tickets to buy)

Since you're within walking distance of Epcot, you could get there in plenty of time to see IllumiNations. It only costs $8 a day after the 4th day for tickets, so I'd say, why not ?

If your flight lands on time, at 6pm, then you should be at your Epcot resort by 7:30...maybe a bit earlier. I imagine that you would want to go to your room, freshen up a bit first. So, you wouldn't get to Epcot until close to 8:30ish...plenty of time to see IllumiNations but not much else. And, there would be a good size crowd there already..so you would be standing behind a ton of people.
If it were me??? I would walk over to the bridge, between BW and BC, and watch from there. Then just hang at the resort for the night, get an good night's sleep and start out fresh in the morning.
BUT...if Epcot is open late that night...for EMHs??? I would head there in that case.
