Sis called this morning at 7am (good thing that I went to bed early last night). She had a rough delivery yesterday, but today she is feeling better and loves motherhood. The new Pop is eager to get the baby's first web page up.

I think the paternal grandparents are planning the first WDW trip.

Yesterday was an awesome hot day around here!!!
The girls and I were by the pool from 11:30am until almost 5:30pm
My tan is coming along very very nicely!!!!


My reading of the Narnia series is moving right along. I started on Saturday, and I've already finished the first 2 books. The first book is a pre-quel to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and it explained many things - it was great!!!! The 3rd book is waiting for me at the libraray, so I need to go get it today or tomorrow - I can hardly wait!!!!!


geffric - I also heard that Jewel is not great to work for. I really like this girl, and I'm hoping she didn't make a mistake. This is why I told her she's always welcome back at the store, because if I have a hard time finding someone, than she can work. Her mom is the pharmicist there, so maybe she'll be treated nicer than others would be.

Belle - I'm glad your sister is doing well!!!!

Here is the little guy's hospital picture. Momma and son should be home by now. I think that he looks a lot like her baby pictures except the hands (more like mine in a similiar posed picture). I don't have better pictures yet---however, his nose maybe from his daddy's side.

I hope everyone is doing well. We are planning a quick trip to Tennessee to see my DHs family. I do wish we were going to WDW instead...

I am just loving this hot hot hot weather we are having!!!!
My flowers are just exploding with color - they really needed this sun and heat
I'm so bummed that it's going to rain this weekend, but I guess we need it (things are getting a little dry around here). The only benefit for me, that it's going to rain, is that it forces me to stay indoors and get stuff done. With this awesome hot weather, I"m outside all the time, and therefore, I've been neglecting my housecleaning. Oh well, the house is getting that dirty either, because we are never in it to dirty it - so it's all good!!!!

I got a crazy surprise when I came home yesterday - a puppy!!!!

I've been talking about how much I wanted a Yorkie someday, for awhile now, and Kevin got in touch with a breeder, and here she is. She's tiny, tiny, tiny - 3lbs, and she won't get any heavier than 5lbs. We named her Sophie, and she is so cute!!!! I will take a picture and post it soon. She is going to start going to work with me on Monday, and she will be with me all the time!! We even took her to my mom's house yesterday to celebrate my brothers birthday. She was a very good girl last night, and slept the whole night - I was proud of her!!! I put her little travel crate in our room, so she could be with us - I think it helped her be more relaxed and not feel alone. Tonight, we'll have to go to a pet store and buy some things for her. She needs toys and things to chew, because she now has only one toy from the breeder. I just gave her a toilet paper tube and she seems to be having fun with that. Our lives are about to change, but that's okay, she's going to be a wonderful addition to our lives


Well, I must go and get ready for work, so Kevin and the girls are going to be in puppy duty for awhile today. I hope they get her outside on time when she needs to go potty. None of them are used to watching a puppy, because I've always been the keeper of the puppy with the other dogs we've had. Oh well, I'm sure they'll do fine.

Today i need to clean and clean so more.. Eric and DH are leaving for the boy scout Troop eastern trip on Thursday. They'll be gone for 10 days. So i thought i would be alone for this time but..

a friend of mine has gotten a new job in Chicago, she is leaving Indy nneds to apartment hunt etc and is starting a her new job monday. She is going to stay with me while the boys are gone.. while she apartment hunts and gets used to her new job.. i am looking forward to her being here

Morning kids!

I'm doing fine, doctor says just bumped and bruised. He hadn't seen my xray and ultrasound results yet, but I did retrieve a message from urgent care telling me they were all fine. Now that I FINALLY have a primary care dr again, I'll be doing a full physical in August. Don't tell anybody, but I plan to join Weight Watchers as soon as my raise goes through....it's a puny raise, but will cover the cost of my WW meetings and add a couple of bucks to the grocery budget, so I think that's putting it to pretty good use!

Today is 'de-clutter' day for me. Can't find the top of my dining room table, as I've just been walking in the door and dropping stuff there for the last couple of weeks! I also have some new slipcovers for the dining room chairs that I need to wash and put on...so I want to see how lovely it will look!

Hi guys, sorry I have been MIA again for a few days, life is hectic, school finishes at 12pm on Wednesday and I can't wait!!

NCBelle Congratulations on the birth of your nephew. It seems so long ago you said you were going to be an Auntie. Cute photos.

Slo I must see a pic of your puppy, she sounds so cute!!!!

ibouncetoo my assistant and school and I are going back to weight watchers after our summer break too! My assistant will be in Vegas 2 weeks before we are, we decided we should wait until we have indulged in the Vegas buffets!!

Geffric How is your trip pre coming on? It's 4 weeks today that we finally meet!! I am so excited!!

Well this weekend Pete and I are busy beginning to redecorate our bathroom. Pete has just installed 5 ceiling lights which look fab. Now we have to strip all the tiles off and then next Thursday plumb in our new bath!!

DanaUK - yep it is amazing that we get to meet after all this time..I am looking forward to it. I am going to call RRBB and OF this weekend and discuss more details like Super Shuttle and if they got a cruise stateroom. They were GTY for the longest time.

As far as pre cruise stuff, nothing to do really - I booked excursions, air lines, super shuttle to hotel, hotel before cruise, rental car after cruise, ... i think that is all... clothes - i'll see what fits before the cruise. I am planning on doing laundry so I won't bring a ton of clothes besides there is the 1 bag under 50 lbs thingy so DH has decided that we will have 1 bag each, and 1 carryon each.. so that does limit the clothes..

A Puppy!

I worked alot yesterday, because I have alot of work to do there.
It's nice working when I'm closed, because I'm able to get a lot done, without anyone bugging me or phone ringing. Sophie goes to work with me today, so we'll see how that goes. Kevin got her a cage, and set it up there. We also got her doggie litter, but I don't think it's going to work for awhile. We put the litter box where she is here at home, and I heard her gagging on the litter so I took it away. She's very comfortable going potty outside (she still has accidents in the house), but I can't ever let her go outside alone, and the thought of going out with her everyday, for the rest of her life, doesn't do much for me In the winter, we are going to have to draw straws on who goes out with her, and when


Poor Stephanie cut her foot open really bad yesterday while riding her bike - there was blood everywhere!!!!! I had to hose down the front porch in order to get rid of it, and there's still some stains. Thank goodness Kevin is an EMT, and that he knew what to do, or we would be going to the hospital. So last night she had to sit with her foot elevated and with ice on it - she wasn't happy. But I told her that I've warned her several times to NOT play outside with flip-flops, and she always thinks I'm square, but not anymore. She says that she learned her lesson (I hope so )

One more full day of school, then half a day until we finally break up for the summer!! I can't wait!!

This afternoon we had our school fete, our stall made $100 as we made some stocks up and the children paid to throw wet sponges at the teachers faces! However only me and the other year 6 teacher would go in! But it was fun!!
Tomorrow we have our class parties, the younger children are out on their fun trip to the local amusement park so there will only be 2 classes in our part of the school, but that will be nice. The two classes that are left are joining together for a party in the school hall, so this evening I need to wrap 4 pass the parcels and some other prizes for party games.
Then Wednesday morning we have our leavers assembly followed by our school tallent show which is always fun.

Slo How is Stephanie doing? I hope her foot heals quickly, it sounded very painful. Right now we are in the middle of our decorating. the ceiling is done with the new lights in, a lot of tiles have been pulled off and right now Pete is draining the water system so he can remove the radiator. Hopefully we will get a lot of the work done on between Thursday and next week. I am really looking forward to having a nice bathroom!!

Well better go and wrap childrens party prizes!!

The work at work keeps coming - which is great
There's so much to do, that it's freaking me out a little bit, but I can handle it.


Sophie did really well at work yesterday - I was proud of her!!!!!
I'm looking forward to having her at work with me again today


Speaking of today - my Stephanie is 10 years old today
I can't believe she's in "double digits" as she would say
Time is going by to fast!!!
She wants to go out dinner Culvers tonight (a fast food restaurant chain here in our area) and then we are taking her to Game Stop (a video game store around here) to pick out a new game for the Wii that we are giving her for her bday.
We are not having a party for her until August 3rd, and that is going to be a combo party for both girls, because Katie's bday is August 21st.

**Stephanie is doing better - thanks for asking!!!! Kevin changed her dressing last night, and it's starting to heal (very slowly of course). She is going to have a nasty scar on her foot Kevin told her that she'll never be a foot model, and she said she wasn't going to be one anyway
