Yep...laid about all weekend. Yes, let's go to lunch! This week should be much better than last week....sorry if growled at you when you walked by!

Back to the ol' grind stone today
It's been so nice, for the last 3 days, to not wake up to an alarm. I'm sure you all can agree

Yesterday was fabulous!!!!
We were outside all day, and got alot of sun
I just love love love summer!!!!!


Danauk - I"m sorry you're going to have rain this week I hope the adventure camp is still fun for the kids, and that they still enjoy it.

BB - Isn't staying at home great?! I love it!!!!!

Well, I gotta get outside and do my 2 mile walk (it's the only distance I can do without getting a splitting headache ) and than get in the shower. Have a great day today everyone!!!

DanaUK - i have been thinking about you.. would it be better for me to send you the CD before you leave so you can download to the MP3 player??

I am not sure what good a CD does for anyone without their laptop.. I have no clue how to do an MP3 file for eveyone and give that out for the Fish extender gift.. . I also don't know how to do fancy CDs either.. oh well..


I had my first cruise related dream.. for some reason ibounce was there and i had my sunglasses on and she helped me find my cabin. Only it wasn;t a DCL set up for cabin but was similiar to the one that i took with my parents for my Dad's 70th b'day years ago. Then i asked her why she was there 'cause she wasn't supposed to be and she said she figured that she would go on this cruise too and be my roomie.. then Eric showed up in the cabin and he said as long as DH wasn't there that he was there.. i then went to dinner .. what a strange dream.. ..

I went and saw a Chiropractor yesterday. Things went well, and he's thinking he will be able to help me with my troubles. I have issues with my spine, which I already knew (I've been having issues with my spine since forever) and he's thinking he can help with readjustment. He did do an adjustment last night, and my neck cracked alot - made me laugh I go back on Wednesday morning, and he wants me to do a heavy workout that morning, so we can see how I feel when I get an adjustment after I workout - so we'll see what happens - I'm a little nervous, because I need to work that night, and I can't afford to feel poorly But I can understand why he wants me to do this.



Well, I gotta run and get ready for work - Stephanie has a field trip that she has to get to daycare early

Something happened with my alarm clock, and we got up 1 hour later than normal - not good!!!! Kevin is normally gone, when we got up today - so he's late for work His day is not starting off well

Hi guys, I'm back from my adventure field trip with my kids. We had a great time, but I am shattered. I got to bed at 1am on Tuesday morning, then was woken up again at 5am (not by children from my school though.) Then last night I got to bed at midnight and was woken up at 6am. So I am shattered!! The only problem was we were suppoed to get our bus back at 1pm today but the coach company forgot to send the bus so we didn't leave until 4:30pm. This meant we didn't get back to school until 7:30pm when we should have been back by 3pm!!! Not happy!

Oh well the bath and my bed are calling, I still have to be in work by 8am tomorrow!!

Edit: The boss just called. As I have worked such long hours this week and we got back so late today she has got cover for me tomorrow so I don't have to go in until lunch time! I only have to work from 1-3!! My boss might not be the best head but she really cares for the wellbeing of her staff.

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday
My mom had her foot operated on, and she needed to be at the hospital by 8am. Before that though, I needed to get the girls to daycare, and getting them up and going that early is a HUGE challenge (especially Katie) - they were not happy


My mom did well with her surgery, but she is in a very large amount of pain now. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, because she needs them. My dad is no help to her, because we believe he has Alzheimers (he won't admit it to get help - he tells my mom she is crazy). My poor mom asked him to fill her ice bag, and he didn't know where the ice was - he's gotten really bad. I told my mom I would come spend the night, and she firmly insisted "NO", so I told her that was okay, and if she needed anything to call.


After my mom's surgery, I was with her for awhile, and then I treated myself to the show - a show alone I went and saw the Indiana Jones movie, and boy was I disappointed (sorry to those who liked it). I love the Indy Jones movies, and I was really looking forward to this - I was actually bummed out when I left the show . Oh well, at least I got to go see it at the show


Danauk - OMgosh, you've had an exhausting last couple of days How nice that your boss told you that you can sleep in


Well, I gotta go and workout (in the house today - it looks a little wet out there this morning).

Good morning everyone. Not much time cuz I've gotta get myself and the kids up and going in just a few. Just wanted to let y'all know all is well here but very busy. Besides the usual, I'm trying to get packing done for our trip so I don't go absolutely crazy that last week before we leave. I can't believe after a year and a half that we're down to the last 5+ weeks until our cruise.

So kids, I was in a car accident last night on the way home from work. Got hit by a red light running, DUI, hit and run dude. Rolled my car and I got up and walked away from the accident! SOMEONE was watching out for me, that's for sure. REMEMBER TO WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS! The police did get the guy...he fled the car on foot but, I believe, walked back (I'm thinking in his state he panicked, then realized what he was doing.) I just have one bruise on my right hip area...from my seat buckle I think. Either that or my PassPorter flew around and hit me there.

I'm expecting I'll be pretty stiff tomorrow, that's for sure. Funny thing...my right hip and leg that had been bothering me all week....feels fine. I must have gotten a chiropractic adjustment in the tumble!

No baby nephew news yet...original due date was 7/10, the past ? months--the date was adjusted to 7/12. My parents can't wait to spoil the little guy with toys and gadgets.

ibouncetoo I am so glad you are OK, how scary!!! You are so lucky to be able to walk away from that. Although, I know how lucky you are and how serious it was but I have to have a little chuckle. Only a true Dis fan could be rolled over in their car and walk away not hurt except from a bruise where their passporter hit them!!!! lol. If my passporter hit me right now I am certain it would cause more than just a bruise!! Pete jokes my passporter weighs more than my hold luggage will next month!

I normally don't drink coffee anymore in the AM, because I workout, but I woke up and it was raining, so I decided to make some coffee


Not to much going on here today
I'm going to work briefly this morning, and then I'm going to come home and do a little housecleaning. Tonight is my first night being lector at church, so I'm pretty excited/nervous about that. Then after church, we are having a bunch of friends come over - so that should be fun!!!!

Being the wife of a fireman, I know how bad some accidents can be, and how bad some people are after them - I'm so glad you weren't one of them them!! You definitly had a guardian angel with you, and he/she took very good care of you!!!!! How are you feeling today? I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you aren't to sore, and that you get better soon!!!

No baby nephew news yet. I guess that he is like his aunt who was late for her debut x number of years ago and probably will be just as stubborn.

We went shopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and they had some hand held, battery powered fan ($9.99 before coupon, no batteries though) that has the ability to tilt in various positions and stand on the table. NC Beast thinks that these would be perfect to have if we eat at Flame Tree next month. Jessie swatted at the fan and the fan did not get damaged (dog is fine--foam blades).
