Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

You wouldn't happen to know what time the Hearthstone Lounge opens in the morning at the GCH? Also do they sell pasteries? I'm trying to do my morning planning and when we are there early entry starts at 7am, but I can't find any breakfast places that open before then! !

... and they love steam trains like Walt did. I was thinking of taking them to DLP for a few days, paid for by us.

I'm baaaaaaack! First, sorry but I didn't even get over to the Grand Californian to find out about the Lounge or Whitewater. We got a late start and went directly to dinner at Naples (expensive Pizza but a great time). Then I got to go to DISNEYLAND! One of our crew is a DL cast member and he signed me in, so I got to see the parade, the fireworks and ride Pirates and Buzz.

But most special of all......my friend Cheri and I got to ride in the "Lilly Belle" the private railroad car that Disney has for special guests. It was just the two of us and the cutiest CM named Mike. I'll give you all a link to the pictures when Cheri posts them. Anyone can ask to ride in the Lilly Belle, you just have to luck out on weather or not it is available. The planets must have been in alignment for us!

:cool1: EIGHTEEN DAYS TILL MY CRUISE! :cool1:

:wizard: Please sending some get well thoughts/PD to NC Beast's parents. His father is being diagnosed with a serious illness and his mom has her own medical issues. On a more positive note---Sis is doing great and is now going every 2 weeks to her doctor.

 Slo, I hope that you get back to full health. My mom was a diagnosed as a diabetic for awhile, but now her status has changed with her diet, exercise, and better control of her auto-immune illnesses (Sjorn's disease(spelling is off) and psoriatic arthritis).

:cheer2: Ibouncetoo---welcome back and I hope to hear more on your latest adventure.

 Danauk---I hope that your DL trip planning is going well.

Slo - I missed something Somewhere!
I had no Idea you were dealing with this.
Hope you're okay.
I don't know how I'd deal with  no sugar.
Hope they come out with sugar free M&Ms. ::yes::
Thanks for the hugs :goodvibes
I'm sure I'm okay - I'm not stressing:sad2:
I just need to keep up what I'm doing, and I'll continue to feel great!!!
Oh, and sugar free m&m's would be wonderful :cloud9: - maybe I should write them and suggest that :thumbsup2

ibouncetoo I'm glad you had a fun trip.

NCBelle prayers and PD to NCBeasts dad.

Slo How are you enjoying the excercise programme?

Wallyb love the cute fairy!!

So how is everyone today? I'm a little less stressed that what I thought I would be. My lesson observation I was supposed to be having tomorrow has been posponed until next week as the projector in my room (the new one that was fitted last week) decided to stop working. All my lesson resources for my maths and English lessons are on my laptop which was a total pain today!! I managed to find a spare portable one though which will have to do until I get my supposed new one fixed!
I'm not sure how I managed to teach all those years ago without my laptop and projector. I'm lost without them!

Thanks for sending NC B's Dad some prayers/pd! He was sounding real positive on Sunday. He won't have the official diagnosis until his latest testing this week (he was suppose have it last week, but he did not stop taking his aspirin for a week in time). NC B.'s Dad is stilling being active---singing with various choirs and church. He is real excited about his youngest grandchild having her First Communion next week.

:wizard: Danauk---hope that this latest round of observation goes well.

:goodvibes My Dad just foward me some pictures that my Sis sent of her and her hubby & his folks at the Boston Marathon. BIL ran in the race---I'm suprised that he is looking older than us----however, I'm barely a year older than him. Sis is looking good...I'm trying to phrase this right...not what expect of a woman in the last trimester. She is very active so there is not much of a worry. She has a nice shorter haircut---she used like it long and style it.

:cheer2: NC Beast has the last week of August, Labor Day, and a couple of additional days approved. Saturday, we booked CSR because no values were available for the free dining...but, we may switch if one becomes available. We now need to book Jessie's kennel.

I've been called worse. ;)
:lmao:

You are so bad. :lmao:

So, are you going to Vegas? So, are the hotels there smokey in the public areas? Just wondering...I can't be near smokers for too long with my asthma-like symptoms.

MY CRUISE DOCUMENTS (LUGGAGE TAGS) WERE DELIVERED TODAY!

.......happy, happy, happy.....
Yipee! I tried to stop by your desk three times today to find out how your trip went this weekend. You were either not there or on the phone.

I've been called worse. ;)
:lmao:

I spent 4 years at an Arts university, I've heard worse too!! I remember the 1st day there we had to go into the grounds and look at the sculptures to inspire us to create our music. My university was in a little village that had no pub! It was a 17th century mansion set in several hundred acres of country parks with 2 lakes!! The music department was in the old stable block that they had converted and the student union bar was in the old dog kennles! Part of the university contract was that we were not allowed to moor our boats on the island in the middle of the lake. Man, I really miss that place!! It sounds very :snooty: but it was lovely and anyone could go there.

ibouncetoo I love it when trip things arrive, it makes it seem so more real.

Wallyb talking of Cirque shows and Las Vegas, I just booked my O tickets this evening. I have to wait until the weekend until the Ka tickets become available.

Well I guess I had better get going, I have a maths lesson to prepare for tomorrow and some other resources I need to find. Have a good evening everyone.

Because it would disturb the wildlife. There were protected species of ducks that lived there!! I went to a very strange university!!
I'll definately post my views about the Cirque shows. I have seen la Nuba and Delerium, their touring show and love them. They have another touring show coming to London next year which we might see as well.

So are you guys thinking about a Vegas trip? I'm so excited to be going back there. It was the 1st American city I stayed in.

I don't think Vegas gives you a view point :3dglasses on real USA life -
but it's a view point all right! ;)
Kinda like me thinking you might live like Patsy & Edina - do you?
Oh we'll surely be back to Vegas.
Just a question of when would be best time.

Humm, I'm fairly certain he didn't live there!!

Yeah, one of these days I need to do a trip to see the 'real' America. As of August my American trips would have included:
Las Vegas x 2
Orlando x 2 (planning a 3rd!)
San Diego (would love to go back there)
Kingman, Arizona (I stayed at a friends house - I guess that was real America.)
Hollywood
Anaheim

Humm, maybe I need to visit other places!

How about Newark or Detroit or Compton. Just kidding.
I LOVED San Diego. But I really don't get the whole LA area -
I've been 3 times and I fail to see the appeal.

I haven't visited LA yet, we fly into LAX in August (11 1/2 hour flight from london Heathrow!!) We are just doing 3 nights in Hollywood as we want to do the studio tours (Warner Bros, Sony and Paramount - we help to run a theatre so are into the whole back stage stuff!) plus the universal VIP tour and the Chinease theatre etc (we are staying at the Rennaisance Hollywood which is on the walk of fame oposite the Kodak theatre). I think though, we won't be going back, it's a one time want to see thing!

I loved San Diego. We stayed at my friends mums house 2 mins from the beach and near the Mexico boarder (we went to Tisuana for the day, never again, although my Clinique make up was really cheap.) I loved the zoo and the wild animal park - I would love to go there again. We went to Sea World - great fun, plus did some shopping (actually my 1 reliable dress I bought in Macys San Diego, I love that dress!!) We had dinner at the Del Coranado (the one the Grand Floridian is based on, boy if we ever get back to San Diego I am so staying there!!) So that is my limited So Cal experience so far!! I'm looking forward to the summer!!

Wallyb Have you ever been to my fair land? I'm sure you would love it!!

I don't think I told you of the coyote that's living by my house. My neightbors have seen him the forest before (next to my house) but I haven't seen him until Tuesday morning. I went out for my walk, and when I got to the end of the driveway, he/she popped it's head up, behind a cyclone fence at the retention area across the street:eek: . That thing stared me down the entire time I walked down the street:eek: . It was very unsettling, because you could just see it thinking. We'll see if he/she is out there again this morning.

Danauk - I'm enjoying the exercising ALOT!!!! :) I dug out the ol' Pedometer, and have been wearing that the last 2 days. I've walked over 10,000 steps the last 2 days, and that makes me very very happy!!! :woohoo:
**Good luck with your inspection next week.:wizard:

Belle - Your sister ran the marathon while she was expecting? That's amazing!!! :)
*I'll continue to keep your FIL in my prayers!!

ibounce - Congrats on getting your cruise tags!!! :sail:

To everyone else - :wave2:

Well, I gotta get going, and get walking!!
Have a good day everyone!!
