escape renewal Sea Breeze Point at Disney's BoardWalk Resort

As on of my Favorite Disney resorts, I will be choosing Sea breeze as the location.

I have a question about walking to the ceremony location and the Landau Coach which is $1,800.

1. If I do not choose the Landau Coach, as it is pricey, the walk from the BWI to seabreeze, does your planner and the one walking you down the "aisle" walk with you the whole way?

2. When does the ceremony music start, as it is a long walk from BWI to seabreeze?

3. Does the planner also make sure regardless of walking or the coach that your groom and the guests are at seabreeze point before I make my entrance?

4. If I choose the beautiful landau coach (I really really like it) where does that pick me up and do you get to have it after the ceremony, and the cake cutting to ride with your husband back to BWI?


5. The violinist, can you tell him or her specific songs to play for bride entrance and for a little first dance at the cake cutting ceremony?

I can't answer your timing and location questions because we were rained out but they will ensure that no guests or your groom see you before the start of your ceremony if that's what you want.

Yes, though your planner might go on ahead to the ceremony site and an assistant may be the one who stays with you.

The violinist will begin playing a prelude (Disney songs or whatever you ask for) to entertain guests until the actual processional starts. The processional begins when the first group reaches the edge of the pergola extending on either side of the SBP pavilion.

Yes. You all meet in the lobby, and she sends the guests and groom ahead, then sends you down at the appropriate time.

Lurky! I knew you would answer all my questions. We were supposed to plan this last year and life got in the way!! I am going to DW next Thursday and will try and set up an appointment with disney and swan and dolphin to see which fits my needs best. I truly want Disney but the 18 people max is what is hurting it the most.

Our backup was a small conferance room over in the convention area. It was very pretty with a gorgeous chandelier and huge double doors to make a grand entrance through.

that sounds beautiful! I am glad they have a great back up plan. If you have time could you pm me some info on how the process worked from booking your day, to choosing different add ons etc? I would really appreciate it!

If you are within the 9-month planning window they might let you, but in general for Escape they prefer to do everything over the phone. I'd still call and see, though!
