ER question... what is wrong with Dr. Carter?

So did I like this episode????? It was a good story line but was hoping for a different one:confused3 :confused3

Wonder who is popping next for a visit to County

Have a Magical Disney Day

I kept waiting for them to tell Dr Ross the kidney was for Dr Carter. :confused3

Benton comes back.. just as he always was... boarding on ****** but he also showed he cares alot for Carter.. loved that part...

I just wish that... Carol and Ross had known they had a part in saving their friend...

I loved, loved, loved this episode... got tingles when they came in with the coolers..

Imho-- I felt one of the best ever episodes...

again just my opinion..

Me TOO - I was watching the show in bits & pices - thought I had missed where the Seattle characters find out who the kidney was for. Auuuuuuuuuugh. I *swear* if ER doesn't let the audience know that Doug & Carol KNOW who the kidney was for....:sad2:

agnes!

I enjoyed it...but... I to wish Doug and Carol would have known about Carter:confused3

I totally agree with you Bee. This is what I have been waiting to see all season long. They keep giving us these hit and run guest spots(just a couple minutes screen time) by all the previous ER staff...Dr. Greene, Corday, Weaver, etc. So, it was really nice to have an entire episode devoted to some of my favorite characters. And Dr. Benton in the OR was great!

Did anyone think it was odd that Dr. Ross didn't ask Neela and Sam about Carter when he was asking if others were still at County? or did I miss something. He didn't even ask if Carter was still there when he was asking about the others, and neela and sam didn't mention carter either when they were mentioning names.

I did! :yay:

I'm like ok he's gonna ask now...ok now..ok now..ok he will come back and ask....hmmm:confused3

Probably nobody :(

At least according to Woman's World magazine, the series finale aired March 12 :(

Well, they had a preview for next week after the show last night. It said ALL NEW ER, so they are not done yet......

I was mad that they didn't ask about Carter too. At least, when they heard a doctor in Chicago got the kidney; didn't they think they might have known the doctor?

My speculation Dr Ross knew that Carter was in Africa and didn't realize he had come back.......hmmmmm:confused3

Series Finale is April 2nd............and rumor has it that Rachel Greene (Dr. Greene's daughter) comes back as an intern so the circle will be complete.

Well, Women's World is wrong. It looks Abby is coming back next week from the previews.

Although I wanted Doug and Carol to know the kidney was for Carter, I thought the way it was done was very authentic. A transplant coordinator and doctor, who do this kind of thing routinely, wouldn't be asking who a kidney was for. I really liked the way they handled Doug and Carol's return by giving them a storyline instead of having them just pass through.

I would have thought they would have asked about Jerry and the 2 nurses that have been there forever. Can't think how to spell their names but I'm sure long-time viewers know who I mean.
It was a good episode.

I thought that last night was handled well, I also like the episode earlier this season where Dr Morganstern (William H Macy) came in as the conservator of the retired county Dr. with Alzheimers that helped them diagnose the lady with TB. That sent chills down my spine, especially her son coming in to play English Horn to her.

I agree that he didn't ask about Carter b/c he thought he was long gone from county.

I love that episode!!! Had me in tears...........

I stopped watching after Dr. Greene died - I just could not cry any more every Thursday night. I still can't listen to Iz's recording of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and not sob. Thinking about Greene saying good-bye to his kids, IZ dying young and leaving a young child... Ugh.

But, I love the ending so far. I wish they had all come back together even if it was for Carter's funeral but that would have been very predictable and one thing ER is not is predictable. Never saw that kid getting hit by the el (the young intern in the first or second year - I remember his pager went off when they tried to call him) or the helicopter falling on Romano coming.

This is not right because there are 3 shows left. They have been doing a count down.

Was Dr Ross there when Dr Carter came to the hospital....maybe that is why he never asked :confused3 Dr Carter was not there from the beginning I don't think. Someone said they are watching the first season do they know? I have a bad memory.
