I've never posted here before, but have wandered the boards for a few years, gaining alot of insight and tips that have made each of our trips to Disney wonderful, and wanted to thank you all, and share a little of our week in a very chilly (and rainy) Disney Feb. 21-28 2004.
My son (5) is compleletely infatuated with one of the performers in the Masquerade at Italy in Epcot... When he was four, we happened to be there when the show began, and the one female character played with him during the performance, and gave him a carnation at the end.
He carried that flower for 3 days.
This year, he talked of nothing but his "lady of venice". And we went back to see the show, she pulled a few flowers from a hanging basket to give to him, and he carried them around until they fell apart. The next day, he asked and asked where he could buy a flower for her (we didn't find any).
So, instead he gave her a ring he had gotten in the "treasure" during the kids Pirate cruise. She wore it, and as it was cold and quiet took him for a little walk around Italy, showed him the gondola etc. At the end of the show, she had him stand on the stage with her, and walk her to the exit.
He wanted to see every performance and go there every day - he did go three times! Sitting front and center very quite and patient waiting for his "lady".
Now that he's home, he wants to send a picture of the two of them to her, and I can't help but laugh - he is so sincere in his request. He is worried that she will forget him!
I would like to send a thank you - for how happy she has made him.
Would anyone know how to do this?
Thanks!
