Hope you find one you like. i certainly think it will make it easier to carry the food and drink since the container are pretty flimsy and such.

They will sell them at the Festival Center as well. I must own at least 10 of them because we have 2 festivals here each year and I go to both, at one they are included in the price at another you have to buy them and I always forget to take mine and end up having to buy another one. One of the ones I have also has a little holder for a plastic utensil.

Are you going to AK on EMH in the morning? If so I say yes if not probably still doable but if you are not driving remember you are at the mercy of the busses.

AK at 9 am. Dreamseeker, good point on the resort thing. Either that or Uber.

Absolutely. Best bet when leaving AK is to take a bus to an EPCOT resort (Boardwalk, Beach Club or Yacht Club), then walk or take the boat to the International Gateway into World Showcase so you don't have to walk through Future World.

I just looked at the map & Beach Club looks the closest but I have no idea where the buses drop off. From the map, looks like a drive right in front & you could walk stright through to the path to Epcot. Is that true?

Also, refresh my memory, are there park to park buses? I know there are no resort to resort buses.

The BC bus stop is not right in front but maybe a 30 second walk to the front, then you can walk right through the lobby and out the back door, hang a left and walk maybe 3 to 4 min. and you are at IG. Yes there are park to park buses, no resort to resort, park to resort is available.

Awesome idea! This will be our first time going to the Food and Wine Festival and I didn't even think of this. Do a lot of people use them? Can we buy them at Epcot? Thanks for sharing your tip!

Here is a photo of the F&W one they will have for purchase at Epcot...from what I have read it is relatively small. Not sure of the price but will be $$ due to logo but on the other hand would make a nice souvenir. I think we are going to buy the Tervis (We use them sooo much at home) and they fit perfectly in my tray.

I bought it last year, I dont know the dimensions but it would definitely fix in a backpack and you could fit approximately 2 of the food items in it. If I am remembering correctly it was about $15 plus tax

I thought these plates (also known as cocktail plates) were cool, too. I have several of them. However, when I went to use the square ones, they turned out to be a bit of a pain. If your food item is served in one of those paper "boats", then two items will definitely fit on the tray. However, when they serve the item on a round plate, I found many times I would almost drop my food item since it tended to slide. If you are going to put your food item directly on the cocktail plate, it might help to first put down a napkin to keep your plate clean in between items. My favorite (and most useful) cocktail plates are the ones that have a handle underneath or a hole for your thumb to hang onto the plate. This one is called a Party Palette.

,the one from last year as well as this years have a lip and I know I put the fisherman pie and another item in it and it didn't slide I didn't buy one in /013 because the plate was flat and I didn't want the food to fall

The problem with this one is the wine glass holder. Notice that's a REAL wine glass. Disney gives you those tiny plastic things that may fall right though that hole! That's why I have gone with the Disney model.

Would beers or mixed drink cups fit in those food and wine plates from Amazon/ebay? That looks like a good pretrip investment!
